The Olive of Morganton is a wonderful place to shop! They have a fantastic selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars, all beautifully presented and easy to sample. The store is warm and inviting, with a great variety of flavors you won’t find anywhere else. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help you discover new favorites. A true treasure in downtown Morganton—I always leave with something delicious and unique!

My wife and I just came across this wonderful little store looking for some cooking oils. The person there was lovely in helping us find what we needed and made knowledgable suggestions for a gift basket. We have already tried two of the oils we purchased for ourselves in an awesome taco salad my wife made. Highly recommend this little slice of heaven! Even if you are not into this kind of thing, so many gift ideas for that person who has everything! I’d love to sing for you anytime! Maybe some day I’ll come and give you the Don Johns concert! I will work for olive oils and balsamic.

Gorgonzola and fresh pressed blackberry sauce over steak. Pan seared scallops and shrimp. Gouda mashed potatoes and Mediterranean green beans. Served with a spring mix and berry salad.

This place is top notch. The service here is on point. They treat their artist well. The hospitality is by far one of the best. Amazing friendly people. Great drink selection and very nice atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience here as a musician. Hope to perform back here soon.

Definitely a unique place worth a drop in! Owner Linda is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The oils are an interesting and refreshing take on an ingredient I typically took for granted in the kitchen. For those who are less adventurous with their taste buds, they also have a great selection of beer and wine!

Really great staff and products available. The drinks available at the bar were delicious and you couldn’t really tell they weren’t made with liquors. There is a good assortment of oils and vinegars available to try and buy, along with spices and salts for purchase. They have great gifting ideas and really talk up the other small businesses in the area. Overall, a wonderful place to stop in and hang out for a bit!

Love the selection of sweet vinegrettes. I don’t usually like balsamic – it overpowers everything around it, but all of these I’ve tried have been amazing! And the staff/owner (not sure) was so friendly! Great place for gifts, too.

If you haven’t been here you are missing out! Amazing bar, and great atmosphere. The owner Linda is a sweetheart and the bartender Melissa is extremely sweet and helpful! They have amazing oils and balsamic! Come check this place out as soon as possible!
