Silver Lining
We generally go here with friends. It’s a nice place with lots of seating area. They have a fire place in the garden where they make fire when it’s cold. Lots of parking space. Service was fine. Food is good. Lots of choice of Beer. Price is on the higher side.

Went for Oktoberfest this year with a group of 8. We were seated pretty quick which pleasantly surprised us. The food was delicious. Great fries, the Ruben had flavorful and tender meat. The beers were really good. Very decent restaurant. What impressed me the most was how organized the event was. They had everything planned out to make the event smooth and enjoyable. The staff knew what to do and where to be, the lines were never too long, the whole process was smooth. It was a warm and inviting space for families, dogs and friends.

We had a great time visiting here before the holidays. We sat outside because we had our dog with us. The food and service were great.
I was however a little disappointed with the holiday market going on. I was excited to walk it to see all the good products. I am handicapped and my walker would not push on the gravel and having knee surgery 1 week before felt to unsafe with the cane.
So if you have any walking issues you cannot walk back to the fire pit because it’s all gravel!!! Not handicapped friendly on the lower patio outside.

I don’t understand some of the negative reviews. We went and had a couple of beers and a great time. The outside area looks cool but we didn’t get to check it out as it was a bit too cold. They did have a firepit going though.

Visited on a Friday evening. Pretty lively and grand. You can being pets on the outside patio. Various drinks to choose from and food options. Plenty of seating options and plenty of assistance all around. Had a great time and if we are ever in the bowl area would definitely visit again.

I sat at the bar at OMB at the Ballantyne Bowl and really enjoyed myself. I had one drink and soaked in the atmosphere — the service was great and everything went smoothly. The restaurant definitely gives off a classic American food vibe with a German-inspired twist. They offer items like German sausages and German-like-style beers, which is a fun concept. That said, as someone who’s been to quite a few authentic German restaurants, this didn’t quite feel like the real thing to me — more of an American take on a German theme. Still, it was a pleasant experience overall, and I’m giving it 5 stars because the staff was friendly, the place was lively, and I had a great time.

It is nice inside to hang out, but unfortunately our first time trying OMB was partially bizarre. The two nice ladies at the front let us know that we could either stand at the bar or find a table in the lounge area (first come first serve) since we were only going for a drink, no food. We were fine with standing at the bar just for a drink and the lounge area was completely full anyways.
However, the unappreciated part came from the bartender, William. Once we decided what to order (only two drinks) and he came up, he interrupted me while I was showing the drinks we wanted to tell us that we needed a table so they could bring our order. We were confused and said that the ladies at the front told us that we could just stand at the bar to have a drink. William kept being pushy and went back and forth with us that we needed a table and we couldn’t stand at the bar. Ultimately, when we repeated that we’re not getting food and just want drinks, he then asked us to clarify and then he said we could stand there. However, it should have clear from the beginning that we were only ordering drinks, had he not interrupted me. We thought it was bizarre and illogical that William assumed we were wanting to order food and told us to get a table instead of listening to my drink order or ask if we were getting food first. Moreover, a lot of people were standing around the counter inside with drinks, so why did he specifically tell us to get a table instead? Hopefully was not because of judging by appearance. Additionally, every table was taken by other parties, so if you require us to get a table, then guide us to an available one. It should be common sense for William and all bar/restaurant employees. William going back and forth with both of us and being so adamant about getting a table practically ruined our outing since so many people were around hearing us. He did not apologize for his misunderstanding and just kept quiet when we pointed it out.
At least the two nice women at the front welcomed us and understood the first time when we said that we were just there for a drink. We had no issue with standing at the bar and the drinks were okay.

This location was lovely! Huge outdoor seating area with a fire pit. Lots of indoor space. Parking wasn’t bad. We had a sausage plate, pretzel and meatballs. Everything was very tasty. Nice selection of German style beer and foods. We will be back in the spring to enjoy the outdoor area. The service was a little slow but it was lunch on a Saturday after Christmas, so I’m sure it’s been a week.
