Decent pub food but nothing to brag about.
Irish lamb stew was comforting and warming for a cold night. Apple slice was disappointing…served ambient; it was soggy and overly sweet yet with little flavour.
Service was fast and efficient but missed the warm Irish hospitality. Music was great though!

From the outside it looked quite empty, but once we went inside it was actually very lively. There was live music and the traditional local food was great. Overall, it was a really nice first pub experience for us – our first pub in Dublin. We would definitely recommend it.

Amazing food and service! I was skeptical since this restaurant is at a tourist trap location but after having dinner there I can say it is absolutely worth the wait. The food was incredibly authentic and tasted delicious. This is now one of my favorite restaurants for authentic Irish food.

A must-stop on your trip to Dublin and the Temple Bar area – If you’re looking for less of a crowd, we went at lunchtime during the week and had great luck getting a table quickly. The atmosphere and staff were lovely. When we went, it was December so they were decorated for Christmas which added a really nice touch as well. We had the Cottage Pie, Lamb Stew, and Guinness 0.0s – All were delicious and the perfect lunch on a chilly rainy day!

The Irish beef casserole tasted like a struggle meal. The fish and chips was ok. The wings were my favorite. What was most disappointing was the service. The lady that waited on me voluntarily came to my table to take my food and drink order (watered down Guinesse 0 ) and to deliver my check. She went ahead and added a 10% tip and asked me if I was ok with that. This is disappointing because it’s Europe not the states the service was mid. I was not even given water but felt pushed to tip, very disappointing.

If you’re looking for a classic Irish meal in a historic pub give this place a try. The Shepards pie and Guinness stew were fantastic and the bar itself has fantastic vibes. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Dublin.

Such a nice place. We arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen closed, and they still served us without any complaints. The food was very good, and it felt like a great Irish experience. The absolute highlight of the night was the AMAZING performance by Jake Suleman, he left both me and my colleague with our mouths wide open. This man has insane talent, and thanks to him, the restaurant had an incredible atmosphere.

When you enter the place, it’s crowded so we expected that it was good.
They were about to close the kitchen and we could order fast. When we asked to be seated at our preferred table, a man answered that it was not allowed because they will need to clean more.. which is not professional hospitality in my opinion, we were only 3 and I don’t think it would have been a big issue to sit on 6 persons table instead of 4…
We were excited to try their seafood soup, but I don’t recommend the seafood soup, it’s very salty and thick.

Lovely experience, very busy with a real alive atmosphere. Had to wait a little while to be seated for food. Was very loud in there while eating because of the live music but the music gave a great atmosphere. Food was good, cottage pie full of flavour

Loved the cozy vibe! The live music added great energy, and the barrel tables with mismatched furniture gave it real character. I had the lamb stew, which was hearty and delicious, but the star was the chocolate pudding…gooey, warm, smooth, and perfectly balanced. A bit loud with the music, but totally worth it!
