Honestly you can make your whole family this meal at home for the price and it would taste better! If you’re not easily impressed and need your food to have actual flavor, skip this place. I ordered the chicken fettuccine that said chicken brest. The portion was so small. I got 5 broccoli and like 5 mushrooms with a handfull of chicken. The broccoli and chicken taste like frozen packaged food. Its like they threw the broccoli in a microwave then put it on my plate! The jarred alfredo sauce at the store, any of them, have more flavor. Other people who I was with order a side of 7 jumbo shrimp like the menu stated. They brought us 6 small, again looking like it too came from the freezer, shrimp. When asked if they were the jumbo they said yes. We then asked about the amount and they said they do it based on weight but finally agreed to what the menu said and brought everyone the 1 shrimp they were missing. We then left to go eat. The noodles alone didn’t do it.

The spoon is for size reference.

We went in 2021 and got disappointed with the food. We thought maybe it was just the effect of COVID…lack of staff, etc. This time, it’s the same thing. The food was bad…like some random person cooked the food! I’m absolutely certain it was not cooked by a chef…at least not a professional one. There’s this new cheese on the menu, mizithra cheese that they put on every pasta dish, even though it wasn’t mentioned on the menu in the specific dishes that we ordered. The food was just so bad. A big disappointment! I was a frequent customer at the Hollywood location (when it was there in L.A.) and have been to the Vancouver, Canada location a couple of years ago. Loved the food from those locations. Something is wrong with this location. The only thing right is the atmosphere…at par with the other Old Spaghetti locations.
The older gentleman on the front knows his job. Our waiter looked like he was new, a young guy. He was nice but he had his thumb on the salads when he served them. Most workers looked young and new. Maybe this location is still having issues finding the right chef? We just felt like we wasted our money here and not one of our party of 5 liked the pasta we ordered. We won’t be going back here unless we hear some positive news about the food.

I used to go to the very old spaghetti factory in St. Louis many times while growing up there and never thought I would see a place that reminds me of the one there, but this one did.

It looked the same and the food was pretty good. They didn’t have toasted ravioli as they did in STL, and maybe it could be something to suggest to try here in Lynnwood. Trust me, you would be”the only ones” that would have it and people would come in droves to get it.

The waitress was wonderful and I most likely will come back with the grandbabies.

The Old Spaghetti Factory in Lynnwood offers a nostalgic charm that’s hard to resist. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30, and the timing was perfect, no crowds, no wait, and a clean, welcoming dining room that felt like a quiet escape from the weekend bustle.

From the moment we walked in, the customer service stood out. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. Our server made us feel like guests rather than just customers.

We ordered the Manager’s Special, which lets you mix and match two sauces over a bed of spaghetti. We paired the traditional meat sauce with the clam sauce, and also tried the minestrone soup to start.

The meat sauce was the star of the meal with rich, hearty, and full of solid flavor that clung to the pasta just right. It had that comforting, slow-simmered taste that makes you want to mop up every last bit with bread. The clam sauce, while enjoyable and packed with real clam meat, didn’t quite reach the same depth, it leaned mild, and could’ve used a touch more boldness to balance the seafood notes.

The minestrone soup was warm and satisfying, with a nice mix of vegetables and pasta, but like the clam sauce, it played it safe on flavor. A little more seasoning could’ve elevated it from good to memorable.

Overall, The Old Spaghetti Factory delivered a pleasant, relaxed dining experience with standout service and a few flavorful highlights. If you’re craving classic comfort food in a cozy setting, it’s worth a visit.

I decided to visit because it’s been around for a long time and is pretty well-known, but I ended up leaving in a bad mood. I honestly don’t understand why I had to feel uncomfortable and self-conscious while spending my money there. The host needs serious improvement — either pay them more or hire someone who actually cares. When guests walked in, the host didn’t greet them properly, just stared blankly and ignored their responsibilities. That already ruined the mood before I even started eating, and unfortunately, the server had the same attitude. Honestly, the owner should replace the host immediately.

On top of that, the food itself was just mediocre — nothing special at all. I left wondering why I even bothered coming here, and it completely ruined my day. Honestly, I should have just gone to The Cheesecake Factory instead.

Absolutely the best place to go for a actual sit down dinner which we all have forgotten how special these memories will be. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is perfect no matter if your by yourself or with a group. The cost is affordable especially since it includes: soup or salad, main course, garlic butter with bread and scoop of ice cream. The location is fantastic because it is away from all the retail stores and traffic but still close enough if you want to go shopping it’s just up from Alderwood Blvd.

It was fun to eat at the place I haven’t been able to eat at in decades. Some of the dishes needed more flavor and the waitress was great about that. My spaghetti was overcooked a bit mushy and I prefer al dente. The 4 sauces on it were good. The waitress was awesome.
And we got to sit in the trolley car to eat!

Very affordable for the quality of food. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our server was okay. The piccata being served with spaghetti mizithra was delicious. Two of my favorite things in one dish. Though I asked if I could add extra capers, and the server said they were already in the sauce, like they may not have capers in the back, which is possible. All in all a good experience. Food was good
