I had spaghetti with meatballs about as basic as can be but the food was great. Our server was just some nice old guy who did a fantastic job I definitely recommend. I wish I remembered his name. My kids just had grilled cheese sandwiches and they bother ate everything and enjoyed there meal. They said the wait time would be 20 minutes and for a weekend that’s great but we were seated within five minutes. Food was good. The red haired girl who took us to our seat was very nice and very pretty.

We went in early before going to a concert. We were the first customers of the day so seating was not a issue. Food was ready, hot, and very good. I had the meat lovers spegetti and my wife a vegetarian ravioli. No room for desserts.

The restaurant has a nice vintage atmosphere that reminds me of Italian restaurants I used to visit with my family when I was little.
The pasta was good and I did enjoy the tortellini a lot. The bread was top tier! There is a good price-quality balance. The salad was by far my least favorite part overall, although the house dressing is good.
Our waitress has been one of the best servers I’ve ever met. She was very charming, said had been working there for years, and was on top of everything. She knew her business and the restaurant food history. Just fab

I had an amazing experience at The Old Spaghetti Factory! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was flavorful and satisfying. From the freshly baked bread to the perfectly cooked spaghetti and rich, savory sauces, everything tasted homemade and comforting. The atmosphere was charming and unique, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s a perfect spot for a cozy meal with family or friends. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Retro Vibes & Realistic Expectations: My First Visit
If you’re looking for a restaurant with a nice vintage atmosphere, The Old Spaghetti Factory definitely hits the mark. I visited for the first time on a Friday around 7:00 PM, and here is the honest breakdown of what to expect:
⏳ The Friday Reality Check
We were a party of three with no reservation. Since it was the weekend peak, we waited about 30–45 minutes to be seated. Heads up: the “wait” doesn’t end at the host stand! Because they were so busy, you should also be prepared for a bit of a lead time on getting your order taken and your food delivered.
The Meal
I tried the Garlic Shrimp Fettuccine, and it was a delicious meal. One thing this place does well is the value my entree came as a full set with soup and an ice cream dessert to finish.
The Service
Despite the frantic Friday rush, the staff stayed welcoming. Our waitress was genuinely nice and did a great job getting our drinks and food to the table once things were moving.
Final Verdict: A “Must-Try Once”
I wouldn’t say this is my new weekly hangout, as the experience was “okay” rather than “amazing.” However, I’d recommend everyone try it at least once. It’s a classic spot give the food a taste and see if it’s your style. If you love it, great! If not, you still got to enjoy the cool decor.

The Old Spaghetti Factory used to be a favorite. Lately this location seems to be lacking in food quality and consistency. The marinara sauce has a cinnamon/clove taste to it. This hasn’t be a one off occurrence. It has been that last 5 or 6 times. Everyone in my party has noticed it on all visit. Sometimes the food is good, others not.

We went in for a birthday dinner and I ordered the Lobster and crab stuffed ravioli with pesto sauce and it was amazing! I upgraded to the ceasr salad for 2.99 and was disappointed. It had hardly any dressing on it, I could barely taste it. Our waiter didn’t come by our table very often so I just ate it. If the salad would’ve been better tasting I’d give this 5 stars. The bread is amazing too!

We wanted to go on a family date night and decided we’d try this place as it seemed to have good reviews. We were seated right away which was a nice surprise. I will give the ambiance credit, my kids thought it was a fun setting to eat at, but the positive stops there. Our food was very underwhelming. The salad kit they used was comprised of limp lettuce and was drowning in dressing, and by dressing I honestly think it was ranch like dip. The flavor of the dressing was awful and neither my husband or I could eat it. My son had the Mac and cheese kids meal which was incredibly bland and almost flavorless. My daughter ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and it was seasoned too much with something that none of us wanted to touch. My husband and I both got the chicken parm. The chicken was overcooked, very bland, and hardly breaded. The noodles were ok and the sauce was passable. I ended up giving my daughter my noodles and I only had a few bites of her meal before deciding it wasn’t worth forcing down. My husband and I barely ate any of our meals and honestly just ate the bread as that actually tasted good. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and it was not at all worth what we paid. Save yourself some money, buy noodles and a jar of sauce at the store because I promise it will be much better than anything you get here. I’m glad that I didn’t sign up for theirs rewards because I’m never going back.

Made reservations a month in advance for Valentine’s Day at 7:00 PM. When we arrived, the lobby was completely full. We told the host we had a reservation and were told it could be up to an hour wait. What is the point of making reservations for Valentine’s Day if they don’t actually reserve you a table at the time you arrive?
We ended up waiting 75 minutes before being seated.
Once we were finally at our table, the service did not improve. Our server was not very attentive. I never received a single refill on my drink the entire time we were eating. We also ordered an appetizer that didn’t arrive until after we had finished our entire meal.
We had tickets to an expensive event in Salt Lake and ended up arriving over an hour late because of this delay.
This experience was completely avoidable and turned what should have been a special night into a terrible one for my fiancé and me. It felt like a waste of time and money
