Really enjoyed my first visit to the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was as busy as it gets but we got seated within 10 minutes. We ordered way more food then we could eat in one setting, but the leftovers were just as good as the first time. We started with the cheese bread and the marina sauce was really good. For the entrees the Mrs tried the shrimp Alfredo, it was really good. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the sauce was creamy. I opted for the Tuscan chicken and it was really good. The chicken was so tender and the sundried tomatoes added just the right flavor. It might have been my first time but it won’t be my last!!

This place is so pretty. Unfortunately that’s the only positive thing I can say about our experience here. It all began when we walked in the door. The receptionist was rude and make us feel like an inconvenience for coming in. We then sat for several minutes before being acknowledged by a server. Our server wasn’t necessarily rude, but was quite absent and not very hospitable.
The bread was hard and not very fresh tasting. We did not receive plates to put our bread on so we used our napkins. The food was not good at all. The plates were hotter than the food and it all tasted old, dry, and reheated. We have dined at a different location and their portions were much bigger and it was a great experience. We were the only diners yet our server was very absent. We did however get to enjoy watching several employees standing around the bar for social hour.
Everything about this visit was unpleasant and it’s quite disappointing that we traveled so many hours to an area that we only visit once a year and this was the experience we had to endure. We definitely do NOT recommend this location!

The restaurant is conveniently situated just off Main Street on a corner, making it easily accessible by foot and well integrated into the surrounding Kentucky streetscape. The interior offers a beautiful atmosphere, with unique décor that prominently features a train display, adding character and a sense of local charm. Comfortable seating and well-chosen chandeliers contribute to a relaxed and inviting dining environment suitable for both casual and family gatherings.
Reviewing the menu, one might initially expect the prices to match the sophistication of the ambiance, yet the offerings are surprisingly budget-friendly and represent strong value for the quality provided. The freshly made meatballs, advertised as prepared daily, were an excellent choice, delivering impressive flavor and confirming the kitchen’s attention to freshness and preparation. Service was unhurried and respectful of my pace, allowing me to enjoy a quiet meal and take in the indoor view without feeling rushed or pressured to vacate the table.
Overall, this restaurant delivers a harmonious blend of atmosphere, quality, and affordability that exceeds initial expectations. I highly recommend it as a family-friendly destination and a comfortable spot for anyone seeking a well-prepared meal in a pleasant Kentucky setting.

The Old Spaghetti Factory is a whole experience, starting with the building itself—beautiful, historic, and fancy enough to make you feel like you should whisper when you walk in. The Tuscany soup was perfection: just the right amount of potatoes and sausage swimming in a creamy, savory dream. The Mizithera cheese with browned butter? Life-changing. Do not skip it. The spaghetti with marinara and meatballs is classic comfort food done right, and the lasagna is packed with so much flavor it deserves its own applause. And just when you think you’re done… ice cream. Because apparently self-control is not on the menu. Worth it.

Overall, a great visit.
We got the lobster ravioli, chicken parmigiana, and the kids grilled cheese. The food was good but not spectacular. It felt slightly overpriced to me.
Our server was amazing though and took care of us. The atmosphere in this place is incredible. Love the design.
Definitely worth a stop at least once.

Christmas Eve, and just the wife and I. Very nice food service, and atmosphere. I enjoyed it. I’ve usually been to the OSF in St. Louis—I was surprised they have so many locations in other states. I recommend the salad and Italian (or bleu cheese if you like it theirs is great.)

This place came highly recommended, and it lived up to the hype. Our bartender was great. The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean and inviting. It was crowded but there was open seating at the bar. All in all, this was a fantastic place to visit if your in town.

It’s hard to not give this place a 5 overall. It’s part nostalgia, part food, and part ambiance that combine for a great dining experience. It had been a long time since my last visit, but I’ve come here since I was a kid, and to be honest, not much had changed. The spaghetti and meatballs, and endless bread, were still tasty. And the old, rustic feel on the inside with the high ceilings, wood floors, and chandeliers still feels cozy. Still an excellent spot to have a nice meal.

My husband and I always go to the Old Spaghetti Factory in St Louis when we’re there—it’s one of our absolute favorite restaurants. We were excited to see we’d be staying near one downtown Louisville; we were a little hesitant to go given some of the reviews, but we decided to go for an early lunch—this place did not disappoint! Food was amazing and our waitress was great. We love the broccoli with mizithra cheese, the cheesy garlic bread, spaghetti with meat sauce, spaghetti with browned butter and mizithra cheese, chicken Alfredo. The included salad with the ranch pesto, fresh baked bread ann butter, and the spumoni ice cream are also fantastic! The portions are large—definitely come hungry!
