Almost made the mistake of turning around…not from the Columbus area and am just looking for a place to eat. My husband and I have been dying to try this place. We always drive past on our trips to/from Minnesota and it seems like such a fun countryside bar. We were excited to finally stop on Friday as we headed to Madison. I figured this would be the perfect place for a fish fry and old fashioned.

My wife and I had our wedding here last weekend and were extremely happy with the way everything turned out. All of their food is amazing. Love the layout of the back deck and stage and the whole staff was so welcoming for our big day. Has become one of our favorite local bar/restaurants even before we had our wedding here. Would like to give a big shoutout to Cheryl. She was such a big help and I can’t thank her and the staff enough!!!

Very nice bar with warm decorations on the walls and wood work. The bartender was super friendly and drinks refreshing … the owner, Cheryl, was absolutely delightful to speak with and aspires to provide the best service possible, it really was a pleasure speaking with her. I didn’t try the food, time restraint, but she guarantees it’s some of the best around. It’s worth a stop if you’re in the vicinity.

Ordered surf and turf on Friday night. Steak medallions Ordered medium. Came out rare and cold the first time, second time came out well done and dry. But it was hot the second time. Fish was good. Cook was probably just trying to rush food out as fast as he could.

Stopped in last Thursday for the Pizza Special. Everything exceeded expectations, from the Za to the beer selection and most importantly our server, service, pizza, and overall ambience were top-notch. Owners Dan and Cheryl were engaged and involved in every aspect of the business during busy dinner hours. TV’s were great (viewing angles, quality and March Madness). Recent updates were warm and inviting. Did I mention really good pizza?! And excellent overall pricing/value. Can’t wait to stop in this summer for the music events. Will definitely be back!

We love it there. The food is always hot and delicious. The service is on point. I have been to the finest restaurants from New York to New Orleans and nothing tastes as good the thier pan fried walleye. Kudos to whoever manages this joint.
