Great food, excellent service, and overall the perfect place for drinks and a bite to eat before heading to the airport!

Nice pub with great beer selection. Prices are very reasonable and food was amazing. My wife loved the margarita (bartender squeezed limes).

This establishment is so awesome! A beautiful outdoor space for free music Fridays. The most sought after bands performing all year round. Tonight Is Fran Briand featuring Jamie Lee Thurston. FREE (made possible by Bakers Distributors.) And don’t even get me started about filling $3 chicken or beef tacos on TACO TUESDAY!

Bar is gorgeous, setting is great. Good draft beer selection. Most food was okay, but chicken was very rubbery, definitely badly overcooked.

Service was execrebale. Took my card on two different occasions to start 1 tab. Not sure what they were doing with it the second time. Will be keeping a very close eye for fraudulent charges. Bartendee was uninterested in serving guests and kept walking around the bar while ignoring customers. Then we were charged for a beer we did not order.

The awful bartender was a middle aged man. At shift change he was replaced by a female bartender who was attentive, quick and a fine bartender.

Would not go back or recommend due to the terrible service. Would have given more stars, but if you charge for things that are never ordered or even provided, you get 1 star.

Horrible experience. I was having a great time until I turned down the drunk advances from a couple of regulars. One of the girls goes off on me and I ask her why she’s angry. The bartender came over and told me I was out of line because he knows them and does not know me. If you’re a regular you’ll probably like it. If you’re from out of town, they will treat you that way. There are far more welcoming places in town to go to intown..

Good food, nice atmosphere, great band (Hulabaloo), but the two male bartenders servicing the outside window were rude and arrogant. Leave you standing there for a long time ignoring you. Went inside and the girl bartender who came in later was pleasant. You need to dedicate one bartender for the outside service window if you don’t have waitresses. Two bartenders worth there oats should be able to handle inside. Kind of left us four with a sour taste.

For being out of town for business it was definitely a great place to eat and unwind after a cold long day.

It’s a rustic bar and grill. We enjoyed the food. As for the service, you have to go to the counter to order, and you’re served at your table.

Karaoke night on Wednesdays at 9 is my personal favorite time to hit up The Old Post, formerly The Sugarhouse, formerly Franny O’s (it’ll always be Franny O’s to some of us!).
The drinks exist, the karaoke works, and the folks are friendly. Sometimes that’s all it really takes.
With the advent of the Old Post’s aesthetic comes a gilded pony behind the bar, a slightly improved layout and a mild saloon-type feeling, but I can’t speak to the food. The bar seats have been hard-to-come-by the last three times I’ve visited, but I’ve seen many folks eating and chatting.
There’s always one old dude called Leo who’s sure to drop some enthusiastic, if errantly-rhythmic, classic Eminem during karaoke nights, but he’s friendly enough and just wants to sing his heart out.

See ya there, buy me a Switchback and I’ll sing you a song!
