The Old Place was formerly and commonly known as Tracks Bar and Restaurant for 13 years, an excellent spot for many locals of Stamford, CT. After closing in 2019, the same owners of Tracks (Jimmy, Pat, & Siobhain) came back to the scene, hence creating The Old Place, established in June of 2020. Same great owners, same great location, just a different name; at our beloved “old place”: Come see us for yourself! XO

horrible place and horrible customer service the bartender was very ignorant & the owner is unprofessional when they messed up our order and we even came to show them how raw and uncooked the burger was. my mother will be writing a more detailed review shortly & I don’t recommend ANYONE coming to eat here.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I walked in and was left waiting to be seated for 20 minutes before someone finally noticed I was there. After being seated at a barely cleaned table, I was served overcooked BAD food. The cherry on top was when we received the bill they had charged us extra for items we had never ordered and when we brought this up to the waiter they were rude about fixing it. I suggest no one ever go here!!

Walked in and heard the hostess swear under her breath and say “great” when she saw me. I hoped that I misheard her and tried to forget the horrendous moment, but it only got worst. My burger was over cooked and the servers seemed angry that I asked for them to refill my water. I was shocked by I decided to tip 15 instead of 20% due to the rude service but I was asked why. The service at this establishment was truly disappointing. Despite a lengthy wait for seating, my order took 45 minutes to arrive. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable, with the staff casting strange glances at patrons. My overall experience was unsatisfactory, and I would not consider returning.
