Amazing food as always! Coming to the Old North End feels like coming home after a long time away, no matter how many days it’s been since your last visit! You can always count on the food being amazing, and the employees/owner being so welcoming. The portions that you get for the price is always an outstanding value! No matter what dish you get here, you will never be disappointed, as all of the food here is truly amazing, and you will never leave hungry. The food here feels like a warm hug, and it’s something I will never get tired of! If you want fantastic food, quality you can count on, and service that’s personable in an un-fussy, but still classy environment, this is the place for you! Must try: Caesar salad (sounds crazy but it’s 1000x better than any Caesar salad I’ve ever had in my life), any of the pastas, and any of the pizzas or calzones! Delicious, hearty, homey. We love you forever Old North End!

This local Italian restaurant is absolutely world class. Best service we’ve had in years, anywhere across the U.S.

The food is exceptional, flavorful, and clearly made with love by people who care about what they’re doing. I mean, just look at that cheese pull.

Everything is made in house, old family recipes type of stuff. Not pictured here was the exquisite cannoli.

The Old North End Restaurant and Deli is truly one of Colorado’s hidden gems. From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth of a neighborhood spot that takes pride in every dish they serve. We ordered the fettuccini Alfredo, toasted ravioli, four-cheese lasagna, crispy chicken, and pizza—and every single bite was nothing short of incredible.

The fettuccini Alfredo was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, the kind of comfort food you never want to end. The toasted ravioli had the perfect crisp with a flavorful filling that made it impossible to stop at just one. The four-cheese lasagna was heavenly—layers of pasta, cheese, and sauce that tasted like it came straight from an Italian kitchen. The crispy chicken lived up to its name, golden and crunchy on the outside while staying juicy inside. And the pizza—wow!—a perfect crust with cheese that burst with flavor.

This place doesn’t just serve food; it serves an experience. The flavor is truly out of this world, and it’s the kind of spot that makes you want to bring all your friends just so they can taste it too. If you’re looking for authentic flavor, generous portions, and a cozy atmosphere, The Old North End is the place.

A must-visit. Colorado’s best-kept secret!

We came in with a big group. Steve and James were amazing. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The whole experience would be described as sitting at the table with a big family with warm and delicious food. We would definitely be back! Forgot to get photos of the lasagna and a bunch of other food because when the food came out we just all started eating.

We returned to one of our favorite local dining establishments for an early Valentine’s Day lunch. We were cordially greeted by the owner’s mother upon entering and offered a table of our choosing. Owner, James, stopped by to welcome us back and satisfactorily answered my wife’s question regarding their calzone ingredient selection options. Following his response, she ordered a customized calzone with spinach and ricotta cheese. Being from New England, we’re accustomed to ricotta cheese in our calzones. I ordered penne with house sauce and sausage, which is made on the premises using a combination of pork and beef. Our meals arrived piping hot, abundant in portions and authentic-tasting holding to the owner’s Boston-area heritage and traditions. My wife’s calzone was accompanied by a side of their dipping sauce. Prices continue to be reasonable for the quality and portions provided. In our case, we left with enough for another full-portion meal in our take-home package. Bravo, James!

We’ve lived in CR since 2018, and I can’t believe that we didn’t discover this restaurant until this year. This is our new favorite spot. Has the strong local feel. The owner is the nicest guy and really cares about your experience. Prices are VERY reasonable, and the food is excellent; definitely one of the best pizza spots in CR. Good beer and wine selection and the home made desserts are incredible. If you haven’t checked this place out, please do, you won’t regret it and it’s great to support local in a town of chains!

I absolutely could not recommend another restaurant to go to in Castle Rock than The Old North End. Their food is truly out of this world! The owner and staff are extremely friendly people and will do their absolute most to make sure you’re coming in happy and leaving satisfied. I’ve had a number of their dishes, but my personal recommendation would be their chicken Parm sandwich! I would highly recommend this establishment to family and friends.

Lovely local place, not sure how I haven’t been here sooner. I will definitely be back. The staff was very kind. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. And the food was yummy. My only complaints were arbitrary and definitely not worth subtracting a star but I do think perhaps they should get some menus professionally made because stapled papers is a little bit lower quality and doesn’t really represent the restaurant very well. Also I was really craving something melty mozzarella I really need that so I’m not sure where it could go on the menu but perhaps a new appetizer either a classic mozzarella stick or perhaps a melted mozzarella bowl would be amazing so that is just a suggestion perhaps for the future. I did enjoy the fried ravioli however that was filled with ricotta and it didn’t really satiate my craving. But like I said that is just nitpicking and personal preference. Overall I had a great experience and I enjoyed the food and the staff was very pleasant. Recommended to anyone in the area looking for a bite of italian.

Food was great and the service was even better! They accommodated our large group and had everything prepped for our arrival. The staff was very family friendly, taking the time to explain the menu and service. The servers showed lots of attention and care to even the kids section, which was noticed and appreciated. James was especially kind and ensured everyone enjoyed their dinner. We look forward to bringing our family back soon!
