This has been the highlight of our Berkshires weekend gateway! A far away restaurant but definitely worth the trip. The building itself is a charming and cozy American inn decorated with lots of barrels and wooden, stylish design. My favorite touch was the fact that our candlelight dinner was served outdoor, adding to an already excellent atmosphere. Service was not notch. You can feel that everyone was enjoying the meal and all the waiters and bartenders really take pride in their skills. Regarding the food – They obviously put a lot of thought into the menu. All the dishes we tried were marvelous. It’s a 3 courses menu, with one appetizer, one main, and one dessert l. We got the salmon and cod as main dishes, with burrata and lobster pasta as first course. Everything was right on point and the drinks were also amazing. We really enjoyed the time and would love to visit again. Great job, thank you guys.

My wife and I had dinner here on our honeymoon after doing a lot of research looking for a special dinner, and wow, it did not disappoint! The 3-course Prix Fixe menu had a diversity of choices, and every single dish we received was delightful in both flavor and texture. The service was classy and on point at all times; they worked perfectly in sync with the kitchen to make sure each dish came out at the perfect temperature without much wait time, but we never felt rushed. The atmosphere was wonderful, with all of the lighting provided by candles and the windows, and nice spacing between the tables. We ended up paying right around $200 after the tip, which we felt was a great price for such an excellent experience. Highly recommend!!

This place is a definite gem. We’ve been going there for years, the first time being during a huge nor’easter in the early 1990’s, when we were the only ones staying at the inn because it quickly became inaccessible! We were stranded there for 4 absolutely unforgettable days and nights. Imagine that experience with the wind howling and nothing but candlelight on the main floor (which is still the case today, giving it its unique charm) and the smell of soup simmering in cauldrons wafting out from the kitchen. Definitely go here. The food and service is amazing.

A wonderful experience. A very charming historic inn, but what really makes it special is the superb, innovative food and the outstanding service. Highly recommended for special occasions.

Absolutely worth the drive to get to this fabulous dining experience. Tucked away and cozy. Everything on the pre fixe menu sounded delicious. It was hard to choose. We both loved every bite. The host and wait staff is clearly well trained and a delight! We ate in the dining room. So much fun to dine entirely by candlelight. A MUST do if you are going to be in the area

Olde England with canapé, beer, and candle lit dinner. They offer 7 courses for one price and you can add the fine wine pairing with your dinner, but expect to dine like a famous New York celebrity.

Love staying at The Inn on The Green. Their breakfast is amazing. Can’t beat fresh baked pastries and the best scrambled eggs. The beds are sooo comfy. You just smush into them and sleep so deeply. Heaven. Each room at The Inn is different. Each with a special character of its own. We loved the suite with the cooper bathroom sink and counter. But then there’s the king room with the clawfoot tub. And then there’s the pet friendly king suite. 11 rooms and we plan to stay in each and every one of them.

The stairs were steeper than we are used to. The room was nice. It was close enough to Gedney Farm to walk to the wedding.
