Crab cakes were mushy. French dip was soaking wet, had to just fork out the meat. Fries were decent. Beer cheese was excellent. Waitress was great.

We had a wonderful experience recently! We went through the manager Adam to reserve the private upstairs room. It was so easy and his communication was excellent! We were able to get the room set up early and order appetizers to be ready exactly when our guests were to arrive! We had our very own waitress named Emily and she catered to our every need! Even had a beautiful water station set up for us in the room in case we ran low while she was running our food and any drinks from the bar! I will always book my parties here! I got to relax and enjoy my husband’s retirement party with the guests without one ounce of stress! Thank you Old Bank! We will be back!!

I like this place. I eat here at minimal 2x a week. The best cheesecake in town. My ONLY complaint is the salt shakers!!! They do not work!! There has not been a single time that I have been there that I have not twisted the bottom off of the salt shaker to use it on my food. Seriously I do this every time!!!! I’m usually there in the evenings. Well, today I was there for brunch (which was delicious) but that damn salt shaker in the room lit with natural light was gross!!! I opened the bottle as usual and now I can’t un see the dirty contents.

I would highly recommend throwing away every salt shaker in the place and buying something that actually allows salt to be shaken out of AND is easy to clean.

I will also add that this happens all around the restaurant. Upstairs, downstairs, tables, booth, the bar… I’ve sat at them all all the salt shakers are the same. And they’re all packed full. Probably because nobody can get salt out of them to use them…. And now I know they are dirty!!!

Probably need to bring my own salt

I had Sunday brunch at Old Bank today. I got the caprese breakfast, which was delicious and beautifully presented. My server was just the sweetest and took good care of me. The atmosphere was upbeat. The architecture and decor was authentic to the bank building that this originally was back in the day, which is aesthetically pleasing. This whole experience was a treat!

We were in Russellville for a martial arts tournament and wanted something to eat before the 250 mile drive back home.
The Old Bank was recommended to us so we decided to check out their brunch.
I AM GLAD WE DID!
My meal consisted of the biscuits and chocolate gravy, two eggs over easy, fried green tomatoes, and a Bloody Mary.
Now I may hail from Kansas, but I’m southern at heart.
To find fried green tomatoes as well as chocolate gravy on a menu, is nearly unheard of!
Everything I had was absolutely delicious.
During our meal, our waitress and the owner checked on us frequently. Our drinks never reached the bottom. I also learned that the chocolate gravy is the owner’s personal recipe.
After our meal, I approached the owner to share my thoughts on the food and atmosphere. I also informed her that I’d be posting a review. She was very appreciative. That’s when she went above and beyond my expectations. She gave my family and I a tour of the building that had undergone a $4 million dollar reconstruction after having been burned down during a disaster. She shared the history of the building and its ownership, having once been owned by the family of New York Yankee’s Stan Newton.
This place has so much to offer, including a bar, golf simulator, a banquet room, a stage for live music…and so much more.

Being that I live fairly close, this is not the first time I have visited. They have a lot going on and are definitely trying to ensure they offer what the folks nearby want. Right now they have a full golf simulator and they have an upstairs area with live music fairly frequently. Its a good place to hang out and chill. While I would not say the place is anything super special, the food is good and the service has always been solid. I had an old fashioned and some wings tonight. See pics. The drink was okay. The wings are really good, just wish there were a few more of them. Worthy of a visit.

The Old Bank is housed in a historic old building in downtown Russellville. They have done a great job repurposing and refurbishing the building. The tin ceiling and woodwork are especially pretty and having the bank vault there is a really neat touch. They’ve used a sports theme and dark decorating and it looks like a place guys would really enjoy. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable about menu items . She was friendly but professional and took great care of us. The dining area and even the restroom was spotless . The lunch menu is rather limited but the hamburger was great. It tasted like it was grilled at home and you have the option to build your own burger with a variety of options and toppings available . The side items were all very fresh and the pickles tasted homemade. The fries were fresh , crispy and delicious. There was plenty of parking available along the block. I’d like to return for dinner. It would also be a great place to watch games as there are TV’s everywhere.
