The only highlight tonight was the pulled pork, though I suspect the restaurant’s scale is broken, because the ‘one pound’ of pork clocked in at 13.06 oz. Not only that but the baked beans weren’t seasoned with pepper they were assaulted by it. And my husband’s Mac and cheese was more like soup! $51 wasted when the only part worth eating was the pork.

Pretty good grub. Tried the sausage platter and the chicken mac and cheese. Sausage was good. Slaw was good. Potato salad was fair. Mac and cheese was good. Sorta disappointed in the chicken that was on top of the Mac and cheese. Overall good experience.

Have been to oink joint in Newnan before, but the one in Lagrange is absolutely terrible! Went in with my son and ordered ribs and brisket sandwich. The ribs looked like they were cooked last week and had the texture of jerky my son’s brisket sandwich was so dry he choked and only took two bites! For 55$ you would expect good food and good service! Neither were good and is probably the reason it was empty on a Friday night!

Cool place from the outside and I had high hopes. Some of the worst brisket I have ever had. Completely dry and tasted more like roast beef with a dry rub. But that’s tolerable. Lot’s of places miss on brisket.
It was the customer service that get’s the 1-star.
I specifically asked at the register was the slaw ground or shredded. I just dont like shredded slaw. She told me ground. It came out and was the coursest slaw I have ever had. Looked like the opened a bag of shredded cabbage and made slaw.
Without even touching the plate I requested a different side and was told I would need to come order and pay at the register. $20 meal and wanted more money to fix their mistake.
I wont be back.

I’m not sure if I accidentally ordered from the ‘Mystery Menu,’ but my dinner had some serious identity issues. The mac and cheese was so soupy I actually considered using a straw, and the beans didn’t just have pepper in them—they were pepper. I felt like I was doing a TikTok spice challenge I didn’t sign up for. To top it off, I paid for a pound of pork, but apparently, the pig went on a diet before it hit the scale. If you’re looking for a liquid-only, high-spice, low-protein diet, this is your spot.

I’ve been here before a few times and it’s always been good. And the portions plentiful. But this time around, I don’t know if it was because it was graduation night or new staff or what but the food portions were very small, the sides were larger than our brisket plate, they forgot our sauces, no forks, the brisket was reslly dry and the potstoe salad was very sour.
I hate to leave a bad review but tonight just turned us off to this restaurant. We really enjoyed it before. A good bbq place in lagrange. But not anymore if they keep this up. Very disappointed. 🙁

We stop here for their Wednesday specials regularly. Loaded tots, baked tater, etc. always good. Prices are competitive esp with the specials. Usually pretty quiet. Not much for atmosphere but more the fault of the layout of the property rather than anything intentional.

I ordered the FatBoy sandwich, and it tasted great! My friend ordered the Wednesday burrito special and it was huge! The FatBoy is a little messy to eat, but im not complaining when it tastes great! Did I mention it tasted great!? I’ve eaten a few items from the menu now between their newnan and lagrange locations, and I haven’t NOT loved it!

Nice BBQ addition to LaGrange. Had the pulled pork and chopped brisket plate with sweet and hot sauces, mac and cheese and Brunswick stew as sides. Kids meal tenders were actually very good, too. The Brunswick stew was very tomato based. Meats were really good and the hot sauce was my favorite, hot but not overwhelming. Mac and cheese served in small Styrofoam cups and could’ve been a little hotter in my opinion. The tacos looked really good but didnt get to try them. Food was served relatively quickly and there was plenty of seating inside the restaurant and some outside on back deck.
