So happy we just popped it. After hearing great things we were driving by and stopped in . So glad we did. We were a day before our 10 yr anniversary and they made us feel so special. The food and drinks were great. I got sushi and Brussels.

Had the Lamb Lolipops and the spicy tuna. Plating was great on the sushi and the Lamb was tasty.
Enjoyed the laid back ambiance the most.
Everyone was great there.

Such a great place! Diverse menu offerings but all done very well. Fresh tuna was the best. Fun drink menu too!

I have eaten at every restaurant in Dover and I eat at each for different reasons. Some are fast and some are amazing. It is usually food based. I had friends recommend this place. I was apprehensive because the menu is all over the map and looks like a Cheesecake Factory corporate menu. I had to make a reservation to get a table and went there at 7p. Sat at the table for about 20min and went to find a waitress to serve us. She was nice and seemed attentive but drinks took about 20-30min to arrive and so I quickly ordered appetizers that took even longer. We were in the front of the restaurant that was billed as quiet however there was a large party at the bar and I couldn’t hear my wife next to me. They finally sat in the back at joined tables but continued to be loud . When the apps arrived which were calamari and spicy cauliflower they were good and well cooked. We looked forward to mains and had placed our order. I looked around and noted other tables had no food and looked unhappy. I was soon to learn why. I enjoy my family and it was good to catch up on our day. However , the food didn’t come and didn’t come. Loud music blared from the party of 20 and again I could not hear my table. I spoke to the waitress again who said she would check on our food. Then she came and said two tables had placed orders at same time. 15min after this the other table had food. After waiting for our food forever, it arrived after an hour and 15min after ordering. The food was good but over salted, average, and not worth the wait. I asked the waitress why it took so long and she said 2 chefs did not come in. There was no manager, no apology , nothing. She even asked if we wanted dessert. I declined because I needed to be home before 11p because I have work the next day. We did not leave until 930p. We will not return because there are better places in Dover to eat like Diverge, Stock and Chapel and main. If you want a place to get hammered with your co workers and you don’t know food, then this is your place

Great little local spot but be weary if it’s busy. If it’s not, the service and food will likely be really good!

I can’t say enough great things about this establishment. The food, drink, and service was second to none. When making a reservation I mentioned it was my our anniversary that we were celebrating that night. The minute we walked in the hostess greeted us with “Welcome, happy anniversary and thank you for spending it with us”. We were seated a table that was decorated for our anniversary. A great touch! We then sipped on two glasses of their Champagne Cocktail. It hit the spot. Our food was delivered very quickly and I must say it was some of the best sushi that I have ever had. I topped it off with the “Three Amigo Sliders”, very very tasty. At the end of the night, we were surprised when the Server came over with two candles and a small after dinner drink while they played Celebration by Kool and the Gang over their sound system. They announced to the other diners that it was our anniversary. Outstanding customer service. What was a special night for the wife and I, was made that much better by the entire Team at The Office Lounge. Thanks to all!

Creative menu, and food is good and well prepared/plated.
During busy dinner hours, service and course delivery can be uneven (longer waits, entrees arriving immediately after appetizers).
Friendly and accommodating staff.
Portions are perfectly sized.
Atmosphere can be loud-especially with music, making conversation difficult.

Food, drinks, and atmosphere was lovely. However service was incredibly slow. From ordering to receiving food was over an hour, and we were the only table in the restaurant. Server was friendly. But did bring over a second drink without asking if we wanted another, which we didn’t. We informed them we didn’t want it but they didn’t take it away and charged us. Probably a nice place to grab a drink at the bar, but wouldn’t recommend dining as the service was slow and not the best.

Great food, great environment but unfortunately, the waitress felt like it was ok to massage my husband’s shoulders. I was there with 2 other couples and wanted to throw up when I was in the middle of a conversation and looked across the table to see the waitress massaging my husband. Totally inappropriate.

I’d been in the Portsmouth area for over a year before trying The Office Lounge, and I should never have waited this long. If this was place located downtown, it would be near impossible to get in.
The menu scared me at first because they seem to offer a little bit of everything. Have no fear; each dish I’ve tried has been exceptional. The dumplings are my favorite in the area. My girlfriend raves about the sushi. The Dunny Bowl is hands down a top 5 dish in the seacoast; it’s a challenge not to order this every time. I had a steak my last visit that was cooked to perfection, and quite frankly, better than the overpriced steakhouse downtown.
The prices here are not cheap, but I would much prefer to pay a bit extra for this level of quality. Strongly recommend this hidden gem!
