Fell in love at first sight w this place. Has a lot of personality. I am guessing they had 24 Christmas stockings hanging up around the room, so let’s say it’s a very festive place too! My husband loved his lamb burger and fries w a tasty root beer. He said he woukd order it again.
I loved their chicken Asian salad. It was excellent! Bartender was very skilled it seemed to me. I only drank water but the couple beside me had about eight drinks all together and the bartender was quick and focused on delivering a good drink it seemed to me!!

Our first visit to Portland and this was the first restaurant we went to. Wow, lucky us! Really cool place and food was great. I had the field green salad and lamb burger and my wife had the trout piccata. Both dishes were outstanding. Service, by Lydia I think, was spot on.
Highly recommended.

Lovely little shop with interesting menu. One page double sided of delicious options. The fries they have a crispy and fluffy inside and so perfectly seasoned! We had mussels appetizer in ginger sake and it was incredible.

My biscuits and gravy was amazing and reasonably price for the food I got. Ate the leftovers for dinner same day. So good

The food was excellent, although for such an expensive place, seeing the server in such casual clothing and a beat up baseball cap was a bit off-putting, but it’s Portland so hey, who really cares?

Everything we had was excellent, and the drinks were very good also.

Excellent food in a fun atmosphere. All the food from starts to entrees got thumbs up by all of us. Cocktails were great, too. And the service was fantastic – friendly and food promptly delivered after we ordered. Highly recommended!

Fun menu for sure, People are pretty nice and upbeat, seem to turn tables quickly enough which is good since no reservations!

Food was ok…farmed salmon was cooked fine, potato pancakes were mushy, tuna was medium rare red in come places and blue in others. Trout was great!

This place is cool. The atmosphere is laid back. Regina was a great waitress. I had the Elk Burger…it was great. Got it with a Tomato Bisque soup. It was very good. Great place for lunch. Oh! Take a look at the artwork down the hall to the bathroom. Some fun paintings.

Never a dull moment, with interesting, varied takes on the classic dishes, a few surprises, excellent cocktail program and happy hour 7 days a week at the Observatory. The somehow soothing but eccentric decor manages to give off a refined yet casual vibe, and there’s great service every time we’ve been. Get the mussels or the chicken wings.
