The place is a warm and cozy place. Only like 15 tables and some counter seatting. I order an egg and a cinnamon roll. It was fine simple and very fast deliveredto my table. But what makes this place different is that the staff (and I belive the owner was here) were very amicable and with a smile. It’s a place we’re you feel welcomed and probably they would be happy to see you again. The prices are surprisingly great due to the location.
Something to be aware is that they ONLY take cash, but definitely wouldn’t mind stopping before at the ATM in order to experience the place again. I hope the best for this place.

Craving eggs this morning, I’m on the books for an afternoon flight to Salt Lake from Dallas and before I go and join the hustle and bustle of city and airport life full of meetings I want to calm my soul with a little bit of warm breakfast.
I’m in the are of Greenville Texas I think, a lot of options. I see Oasis. In the comments it states a no frills cafe that is home to the regulars and as anyone who is a real foodie knows that is where we want to be. Many reviews said cash only. So I made a quick trip to an atm unfortunately finding one with $3 charge there and on the internal banking side as well. We will see if the extra $6 is worth the drive and time. I don’t know many people who carry cash like that anymore but here we go. First approach the building is simple and even has hand written signs. The parking in the back is full which shows it’s probably good and there are probably regulars there right now. It’s 9:38 am and as I walk in I’m greeted with a small waist size bar with simple chairs across. This is no grand gesture of a place for sure and I am already kind of loving the decent flow of energy as I look around. I am immediately greeted by a young Hispanic man and quickly followed up with an older Hispanic man that comes to take my order. It’s calm and there’s a small radio in the back playing the city’s mellow lighthearted tunes.
Between the halloweens decorations lights and the random display of angels and plants this place has a Alot of charm.

The regulars joke though you can tell they don’t know each other but there is a family vibe here. The workers work as if a flow of consistency and good customer service a lot of places are missing now. There are 2 fresh pots of coffee up front easy to grab a cup of Joe and enjoy the early morning with.

I ordered the Grande Breakfast with sirloin steak and a side of French toast. I am old school and I need a little sweet in my life after a meal. The food came out so quick. The Coke came from a can which can be a good or bad thing. Maybe of convenience for the Restuarant or to charge more we will see when the check comes.

The eggs were delicious and cooked perfect with extra crispy hashbrown. The sirloin steak was thin the size was a decent size. But if you’re expecting a thick steak it’s not the one. It went perfect with my eggs and hashbrowns. The French toast was exactly how I like it. Some people use the thick texas toast which is great if that’s your main dish. But I ordered a side and it’s cooked on regular bread and has the powdered sugar in it. It was exactly what I was looking for. Delicious! The syrup came on a little dish and surprised me they had it warmed up. Tasted like home. It’s the little things in a place like this that makes you want to be a regular. The simple salt and pepper shakers and sugar on every table make you realize how easy going this place is. I did over hear a guy being told they only take cash and though it says it on the sign outside they should maybe think about investing in an atm machine- or telling the customers before they sit down. Cas was my server he was Great! Very kind polite and read the room when I wanted to just eat. If I lived in the area I would be a regular. Don’t sleep on this place. The menu is large but not too large you get overwhelmed. I’m not sure if it’s locally owned but it would be great if it was. Also I liked how you come in and sit anywhere you want. I love that. It makes you feel right at home. Thank you Oasis

Visited here very often but first time writing a review. Love this place for their quick service and great breakfast values. Our family lives in Richardson but whenever we travel south, this is the restaurant we visit for breakfast.
Simple menu, attentive and quick service.

We highly recommend this restaurant and we love to return.

This place is fantastical! We started eating so fast I couldn’t get pics of the food. First, our food arrived quickly and correct! And the taste was perfection. I never had to ask for drink refills because the staff made sure our cups stayed full. The owner Nancy is the sweetest and Louis (sp) is the best cook around. Can’t wait to get back there. And vest of all, we are supporting small local business.

I am from small town America, this café has a small town America feel. The lady behind the register truly cares about the folks that enter through her door. I watched her listen to her regular customers talk about what was going on and where they have been. The atmosphere feels like you are in someone’s home and the food is really great. I highly recommend this place not only for the food but also for the personal experience.

Greasy spoon diner, breakfast and lunch, CASH ONLY (No Credit Cards, etc). Service was good and the prices are cheap, but the food is mediocre at best. Portions are average. It’s also not the cleanest restaurant in the world (surprising amount of cobwebs and a ‘gritty’ taste to the water). It’s there if you’re hungry, hungover, or broke from the night before. Otherwise, plenty of better restaurants nearby.

Older cash only restaurant in a strip mall. Restaurant is clean and in good repair. Definitely not a trendy fancy place, just a great neighborhood restaurant. Service was great. Prices were very reasonable. The migas was excellent. I highly recommend.
