I really loved this place!! It sits tucked behind a boat hanger and right up to the water. I love the how open it is and decor is perfect for this place. As you walk in, they have showers outside and outdoor games like cornhole and volleyball
The food was delicious! Unfortunately, we ate it without taking pictures of the main course. We ordered the fried gator as an appetizer and that did not disappoint. The fries are incredible and the main courses were delicious as well.

To the eye at first glance it is a very nice place. Food was excellent. Cooked correctly and flavorful. My only concern was the slaw was at room temperature. Hush puppies were great shrimp was good and alligator was a little tough. Now for the bad part SERVICE sucked was non existent. Only 6 tables are full in restaurants. 4 servers.

Terrific marina views and very relaxing atmosphere. We were here when it was quiet, and can’t imagine what it’s like in the middle of tourist season.
Food was good, service was excellent and the overall vibe was great.
Will be back to try other menu items.

Good place to enjoy traditional local dishes. We rodered shrimp and grits and grouper and grits, and seafood gumbo.
About Grouper and grits, the taste was great but presentation need a bit uplift. Grouper is hidden in grits, it looks like grouper is missing in the plate.
Gumbo was good.

The Oar House is hard to beat if you love a true marina vibe. Sitting outside overlooking the boats, watching the birds work the docks, and feeling that salty breeze makes the whole meal better. Service was friendly and on point, and the shrimp po’ boy was absolutely delicious. fresh, flavorful, and piled high. One of those spots that just feels like Florida done right.

Really neat place! The decor and location are amazing. So, so cool. The service was great (I think her name was Brooklyn?) They had live music and great happy hour – $3 margarita score! I ordered the shrimp appetizer (St. Thomas Hot Pops) and a side of fries. The fries and ranch were good. The shrimp were just okay.

You get to choose where you’d like to sit. Our server was very nice and made sure we had everything we wanted and he even gave me extra whipped cream for my drink. The steak and crawfish etouffee with a side of garlic green beans are the best ive ever had. The alcoholic beverage choice of berried pleasure is also delicious. Highly recommended

I had a great experience at The Oar House! The service was excellent. Our server, Logan, was amazing. He’s one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time. That really says a lot! The food was also delicious. I ordered the mullet basket with hush puppies and fries. The tartar sauce tasted fresh and really good. We also tried the gator bites, and they were awesome! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in the Pensacola area.
