Someone said it’s a high price place. Well, if you consider the quality, portion sizes, salad and bread, it’s rather reasonable. Best food around for such a rural area. Try a comparable restaurant in KC like the Golden Ox, you’ll find similar, if not higher, pricing. Great patio, great food, great service!

Great spot to eat. The food is awesome I’ve never had a bad plate there. The service is great and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. You wouldn’t expect to find this on Hwy Z in between Carrollton and Chilicothe, it’s like a diamond in the rough. Also in case you didn’t know they also have trap, skeet and sporting clays shoots with guided hunts available. Ask for Scott.

The atmosphere is nice. You can eat inside or outside. The food is always great. The service though could use some improvement. It always seems like we wait forever to be served even when they aren’t that busy. We sit outside and it’s like they forget about us. Sometimes it feels like they are doing it on purpose so we don’t come back.

We went there for our anniversary and enjoyed our experience. The meals are on the upper price range but is very good food. Save room for their bread pudding.
