A lovely spot with great service. One of the best breakfast I’ve had in recent memory. My daughter and I split the avocado toast and the breakfast sandwich on brioche bun. Both were amazing.

Went with six people for brunch and we shared food. Everything was tasty but the breakfast sando and Monte Cristo were the standouts.

I have not had food like this in a long time. Everything was spot on! The steak was perfect, juicy and at the perfect temp. The hummus was so flavorful. I also got a margarita pizza that got me full mast! No joke, this food was so good I would take a bullet for the chef! Compliments to him! The staff seemed like family. Very nice and professional. Fortunately for me, I was seated next to the hotel management team who were very nice and down to earth people. I will definitely be back so I can try some more masterfully crafted menu!! If you’re in SLO, you would be wrong if you didn’t eat here.

This place is so nice! Food was very good!!! I had brunch and dinner there.
– Crab cake was good, a bit dry, but good
– Coffee for brunch was very yummy
– Eggs Benedict DELICIOUS! One of the best I’ve had!
– Customer service: they need to work on that. They were a bit short staffed (kitchen) both times I was there, so waiters were turning people away because they had 4 tables with clients (???) and a couple of people sitting at the bar.
I liked the fact that there were no kids around.
They also offer outside patio sitting

We went in on NYE w/o any reservations! Thankfully, we found a couple of seats at the bar. Natalie, one of the 2 bartenders that evening, greeted us immediately. Didn’t have to wait long for our drinks even though the place was packed. She was very friendly and personable. We ordered the ceasar salad (yummy!), short ribs and pork chops. Very savory. For dessert, we ordered the smores brownie. It was perfectly not too sweet.
We stayed at Hotel Cerro which is connected to Oak Grill. The next day we went back for brunch. We sat at the bar again. This time we chatted with the manager, Alex, who was also very friendly and personable. I ordered the Caesar salad again, but this time with chicken (quite juicy) and a side of bacon. Later that evening, we stopped in one last time to get a night cap and we were happy to see that Natalie was working the bar again. She knows her stuff! Everyone there is so friendly and the ambiance is great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here tonight. Definitely recommend the greens and grains salad. The pizza is thin crust and oven fired. We also had the tritip. Desserts are delicious. We had the vanilla cheesecake and crem brulee. We will be back next time we visit the college kiddo.

I had the pleasure of dining at Brasserie SLO, an eatery located in downtown San Luis Obispo and attached to The Hotel Cerro.
Walking in I was struck by the restaurant’s unique architecture, which features a mix of brick, glass, steel, and lighting. It’s a very cool space that sets the scene for a memorable dining experience.
Our waitress greeted us with a warm smile and was very friendly and helpful throughout our meal.
The menu offered a great selection of dishes, ranging from classic breakfast items to more unique fare like breakfast pizza.
The service was quick and efficient, and our food arrived in a timely manner.
I’ll certainly be back with my friends and family to try more of the menu!

Great meal top to bottom. We really enjoyed every single item we ordered. Cocktails were great (not too sweet). The baked brie and kale salad were perfect starters to have together (the clean acidity of the salad really balanced rich, sweet brie.) Overall, the mussels were the standout dish for me. Super flavorful. Our service was top notch, too!

Our family in SLO made reservations for a Christmas Eve dinner here. We were greeted and seated very promptly. Our server Lauren was friendly and had some great jokes for the whole table. Her recommendations on cocktails were spot on. Service her overall was quick and attentive throughout the whole meal. Ambiance in the space is bright with a minimalist touch. Walking through into the lobby is pretty cool and the hotel design maintains a sense of cohesion to the restaurant as well. We had the crab cake, Ceasar salad. Ceasar salad was good but dressing was more like Mayo than dressing. Crab cake has some heat and great flavors. The empanadas were fantastic and the shorter rib just melted in your mouth. But the real winner was the fried chicken. The portion was huge, the biscuit was gigantic and the seasoning was spot on in the entire dish. Will absolutely be back to Brasserie SLO
