Stumbled across this restaurant we’ve never been to or even heard of! It was FANTASTIC! Our server Corrina was awesome! The cook Scott is phenomenal. The food is delicious! The drinks were amazing! 10/10 recommend. I heard their Happy Hour is amazing also!!

Tried this place for the first time after living here for a few years. It was a busy Friday night but we didn’t have to wait too long, our food came pretty quick for a party of six. Food was really good, the kids really enjoyed it. The service was great and will definitely be going back!

The fish, and baked potato soup where great. However, the frys where lacking. I would recommend the waffle frys.

The atmosphere was ok, it was a bit dark for this kind a establishment.

Over priced and way under served. Every time (not once in a while) they were under staffed and as always over priced. I’ve been 4 times over the past 5 years and the story is always the same. Don’t get me wrong; the food is good but that’s just it. There are plenty of steak houses in the county that are far superior to the Nut House. For a not so many patrons the staff seems over worked or just plain lazy. Completely disinterested is serving you and your time there. I was even asked for a better tip once. I guess 15% wasn’t good enough. On my last visit we ordered 2 steak dishes, medium well. One came to the table rare and the other cold and well done. When we asked for mine to be cooked a little more and my companions to be replaced we caught attitude from the server and it made us nervous to eat them when they came back. We ate them but I can’t help but think (4 months later) that something happened to our food that we definitely do not want to know about. Take your hard earned cash and go elsewhere. It’s just not worth the hassle you get from the servers.

Needs a lot of work on the inside of the building. You can still the peanuts in the flooring. My ribs were dry and the thin fries were cold and no taste. Only two waiters and busy for only two people.
My husband burger was very pink and it was to hard to get anyone attention to send it back.
Service was as good as she could of done.

The food was mediocre. Fish sticks were frozen. $10 salad had about a tablespoon of choked tomatoes and maybe twice that of cheese. I ordered the sweet potato for my dinner along with salad and I got 1/2 of one. The waitress was pleasant at most. I have no idea how they had a high rating. It’s not like they were busy. There were only 2 other tables with people the whole time we were there. Won’t recommend.

I was staying at a resort nearby and googled for a nearby restaurant and found this one. Looking at the web site, the menu was a little pricier than I usually venture towards but we decided that we would splurge.
It turns out that the prices were very reasonable, the online menu was only for their higher end dishes. We had the 10oz steak meal and a Boneless Chicken breast meal. Both were marvelous. My wife has a sensitivity to black pepper and they accommodated her order with the steak. The dinner rolls are great, we couldn’t get enough (they sent some extras home with us.)
As mentioned in another review, it is a laid back atmosphere, roadside steakhouse feel. Worth a slight detour if you make the Canadian crossing just to the west.
2 meals, no drinks, $37 with tip.

My family decided to try this restaurant for the first time this evening. We walked in the door and patiently waited while the waitress rang up a customer. She curtly told us to sit tight. Then another waitress came by and told us it would be a five minute wait to be seated. Looking around, we only saw 3 or 4 tables with people sitting at them, the rest were empty. We sat down on the bench by the door and patiently waited. Both waitresses walked by us numerous times and ignored us sitting there. I would understand if the place was busy but it was very quiet. We waited longer than the five minutes and decided to leave. We won’t be back.

Food was fine, not amazing, but not bad either. $94 for 4 people so cost was average. Service was less than desirable. Server seemed to only be able to handle one table at a time so we had to wait until she was done with several tables before even coming over to greet us, more than 15 minutes. Then, we indicated we were ready to order and she said she had to get our waters first. Whaat? So there was another 5 minute delay before she even took the order. The kicker was there were only FOUR tables with people at them and everyone appeared to be having the same experience. We were there on 12/26/17.
