Walked by and saw a Smokey old fashioned advertised. Leo/lenny the bartender was fantastic in every aspect and made the best drink I’ve had in a long time. Food was great limited menu but what we ordered was great

We came and spent the weekend in Deadwood for my Birthday. Let me just say that we went to almost every place on the main strip. The Nugget is by far the best place. The Bartender Spencer has it locked down. His play list is off the chains, his cocktails are better then anywhere ive ever been, not just in Deadwood. The whole bar is a vibe that you have to experience. Dont waste your time anywhere else. This place has great food and an even better selection of cocktails. The Skinny Drop Mule and Old Fashion was our favorite drink all weekend.

We visited deadwood for our honeymoon and stopped in the nugget and believe that it’s the best by far. We aren’t Bloody Mary people but when Tripp tells you he has a famous Bloody Mary believe him !! Try them all they are the best hands down. We had to have a bottle to take home with us! Definitely should visit there. We will be back.

Our favorite place to visit when in Deadwood. Yes, Tripp is the man! Check out Spencer, the evening bartender, he’s pretty cool as well. The Bloody Mary that Tripp makes is insane.

The Nugget is a comfortable place to hang out, enjoy a top notch cocktail, and eat some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. In contrast to the abundance of noisy, dimly lit, and cramped bars lining the streets of Deadwood, The Nugget is spacious and airy, with vaulted ceilings and natural light from the large windows. Great selection of music playing, but quiet enough that you can relax and comfortably carry on a conversation. Our bartender Tripp was talented and professional, and really an amazing guy to talk to. We stayed for several hours and had a great time!

Our first time to Deadwood. Popped in here for some appetizers. Chicken nachos, awesome. Poutine, delicious, cheese bread, yum! I didn’t know they were known for their bloody Mary’s. Me and my daughter both ordered one. They are loaded with goodies. We both didn’t care for the flavor. But with that being said I think everyone prefers it a certain way so you can’t judge flavor so well, unless it’s terrible. This wasn’t terrible, just a different flavor than I am used to. Our waitress was awesome! I would highly recommend stopping here,

We love this bar!! For the past couple years we have made it such a point to stop by that our dog knows to walk in here when walking down Main Street! Spencer has served us the past couple times and is one of the most personable bartenders ever and takes care of us, our friends and fur baby!!! Thanks for being so pet and human friendly. Spencer, you rock!!!

Tripp and Sarah are the absolute best. This is our first time in Deadwood and The Nugget was our first bar. The Bloody Mary’s are the best I’ve ever had. Tripp makes his own Mix. A must stop in your Deadwood Journey!

New owner, menu and prices. Used to come for pizza every time we visited. We’ll, it’s not what it used to be! No pizza. Generic, pricy new menu. What a disappointment. Ordered Southwest Sliders and fish and chips. Sliders were a joke at $4 each. See photo. Fish and chips right from the Sysco freezer. Should have realized it sucked when it was empty during a big tourist day! Most other places were packed. Bartender, Tripp, was nice, but we’ll never return.
