Having put down our roots in St. Louis and cut our teeth in the Midwest, we have learned that good BBQ is found all over the nation. For this reason, The Notorious P.I.G is not strictly St. Louis style BBQ. Our founding fathers have taken everything they’ve learned at home and developed an all-star menu. We’ve gone all over the country and hand-picked our favorite renditions of America’s favorite cuisine: Memphis style ribs, Kansas City burnt ends, Texas-style brisket, New York City pastrami…do you get the point? What are we bringing to your table? A fusion of the best flavors, rubs, and sauces, outside of your grandpappy’s secret family recipe. We’re also trying every day to bring new flavors to the world of smoked meats.

I’ve never had a problem with their service but, yeah, Montana just doesn’t do great BBQ. Notorious isn’t bad just nothing to write home about.

Was in the area for work from Washington State, this is a must stop any time I am in Missoula! The best BBQ I have had hands down. This time I tried the half chicken and brisket wow wow wow is all I have to say! The staff was eager to please, and very friendly/welcoming.

We love the smoked brisket at The Notorious P.I.G! I also love the Mac n cheese. We have ate at both locations and we love this one the best, especially when the garage doors are open! They have Pepsi product, beer, wine, cider, and seltzers. Food comes out fast. They do have 4 types of BBQ sauce/mustard. I don’t use any because the meat is so good. Nice outdoor seating at this location too.

Amazing fall off the bone ribs, thin sliced brisket and pretty good Mac n cheese. I got a rib combo with macNcheese and pickles. The pickles are good but the spice kind of builds if you eat several at once. Nice renovation of an old oil change place.

The prices were reasonable. The service was good.

I wasn’t really impressed with their ribs. I think that they were a little bit dry considering they are wet “sticky” type of ribs.

The beans were good. The slaw was just slaw. Nothing spectacular.

Once again Bomb bbq and sides. I have eaten here multiple times and always great. Friendly staff, fast service, and a cool vibe inside. Ribs were awesome. Baked beans I could eat like a pound of. Deviled potato salad delicious. Highly recommend and a easy walk from downtown.

Everything was so delicious!! We loved the pulled pork and brisket. The cornbread was amazing and the beans were mouth watering. I highly recommend this place.

Eatable BBQ, by far not the best. The Mac and cheese is very disappointing, some people might like it. Brisket is cut thin but it was still a little bit chewy. The ribs are decent. Staff was great and friendly

Literally the worst bbq I’ve ever had. The ribs were dry and overcooked, the smoked turkey was dry, bland and sliced like deli meat “why”? The guy at the desk really hates his job or he’s the owner and is really mad that he can’t cook bbq. I’d rather eat bbq out of trunk of a strangers car at Walmart then ever go back.

Very hospital staff, every time we’ve been there.

2 out 4 of the times they’ve been out of their delicious corn bread and burnt tips. It’s always a pleasant surprise when they’re available, but their turkey, beef brisket, and other meats and sides all tasty.

If my partner and I split an order, they’ll split the servings into two trays for us, which we always appreciate.

Special note about their fire and ice pickles. I love dill pickles and still find these good. My gf who doesn’t like pickles, loves these.

The mains and sides are amazing, as are the sauces.

The Notorious P.I.G. is hands-down the best barbecue in Montana. The burnt ends and pulled pork are absolutely incredible, and their fire and ice pickles take the flavor to the next level. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are super friendly. If you’re anywhere near Missoula, this place is a must-visit for barbecue lovers.
