Solid in every regard. Kosher burger / meat restaurant which features classy “old-school” decor, a friendly & attentive staff, and well-made food. Portions are a nice size. Parking was easy. Their burger is magnificent. Good spot for watching sports (5 large TV’s). Plenty of room for private parties (seating for approx 75 people).

Chicken wings still have feathers on them. Chicken fingers are rubbery and look fake. Overall, wasted $75 and when I asked about said feathers, I was told that’s how they come… nastily. I’m sorry, I’ve never been served wings with this many feathers. MAYYYBE one sneaks through. This was multiple pieces. Everything was rubbery. This place soils the reputation of the old place. There are much better places (and cheaper) to spend your money.

Was there previously for a private party and the buffet style food was excellent – delicious and plentiful
However, I recently dined in with my family (3 adults, 1 toddler), and it was not a good experience. There was pnly one other table of 2 guests at the time. Waited 10 minutes without being greeted at all before I got the menus off the bar myself. Another 5 minutes to be greeted and 10 minutes more to take the order. 10 minutes more before drinks hit along with hastily thrown silverware and napkins in a heap, and 20 more minutes before a bite of food appeared. One hour to receive an order of chicken fingers is wild.
The food was ok, my sandwich and fries were cold but tasty (bread was amazing) and the toddlers chicken fingers were too hard, but very good once cut up. Burger temp was way off.
The manager was the only one on the floor, and he did not check on us once the food was dropped. The person paying our bill did not leave a tip, which frankly was completely justified given our experience (this is coming from someone with restaurant management experience).
My biggest issue here is that the manager had the audacity to go to the other guests to complain loudly about not being given a tip. First thing we heard from him since the food was dropped, after nonexistent service. Completely unacceptable behavior.
I hear good things from other people so will hopefully give it another shot.

Honestly, pretty mixed feelings. Friends are describing this place as “good bar/hotel type food”. In other words, it isn’t a great restaurant. The place looks really nice. Each time we’ve gone in, something has been off with the food. Fries have been refried/dry, sauces have been watered down/not very tasty. It is great because there aren’t a whole lot of other kosher options in the area. But compared to restaurants in other popular kosher areas, this place can do some work on the simple things to bring up the food quality. For the price you are paying, you should get fresher and more substantive

I placed my order by phone for the North End Sub at 4:50pm. It is a schnitzel sandwich with grilled onions and pastrami. At 6pm it was still not ready. When I asked them to search their orders we discovered they never placed my order. So they said they would fast track the order. It was done 10 minutes laters. $27.50 for a chicken finger on a baguette with some pastrami, grilled onions and fries. ONE chicken finger on each half of the sub. Not even a big chicken finger. I think North End Grill can and should do better. I will give them one more chance. See photo below.

My favorite kosher restaurant to come to New Rochelle in a long time. The food is just that good. Not fancy and a little cramped, but a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The chicken soup, BBQ wings, and the North End Sub were all so delicious and fresh. The onion rings were a big hit at our table.
Best part was the staff. They were incredibly patient and accommodating. Our server (I regrettably forget his name) had to take down a lot of dietary restrictions and special requests for a big family at the table beside us with seniors and little kids. They seemed to be totally taken care of and everyone enjoyed.

I’m not upset that the restaurant was closed on Christmas—I’m upset that I was allowed to make a reservation, received confirmations and reminders, and then showed up to a closed restaurant.
This was completely preventable and shows a lack of attention to customer experience. If you’re closed, your reservation system should reflect that. Unfortunately, this turned into a wasted trip and a very disappointing experience.

We hosted a Sheva Bracha at The North End Grill last night. Food was amazing and plentiful. Our guests said it was the best food they had versus the other nights. Service was great. The price was very reasonable. The back room can hold around 25 people and can be curtained off from the rest of the restaurant. I highly recommend them for this type of event.
