Voted Best Neighborhood Pub by Jezebel 2020. Great local spot. Cheers in Midtown. Perfect patio across from Piedmont Park. Known for our Stuffed Burgers, The Bloody Best, Ahi Tuna Salad, and amazing Steak entrees! Solid draft beer and wine selection. We make everything in house – all of our sauces, dressings, soups, blackbean burgers etc. All homemade. Also house smoke all of our meats! The Nook is known for giving back. Our motto is Do good. Give back! And we do so every day with our Drink for the Trees, Giving Cocktail, Giving Totcho and Purple Stride. Have patio and inside dining. To allow dogs, we have even turned out driveway into a seating areas! Do good while being (a little bad) at The Nook!

We almost picked another spot because of the parking battles, but decided to walk the few extra steps to The Nook and that was such a great choice! We were immediately greeted, sat, and taken care of. The vibes were easy and the food was amazing. We had a burger with tots (best tots ever) and a breakfast sandwich (in a wrap) with grits cakes. Grits cakes were a fiest for us and I am in love with them SO GOOD! Most of their cocktails support a local charity or cause, so we had 2. Both were phenomenal (I prefer a less mixer ratio, my husband prefers to not taste the alcohol in a daytime drink) to both of us. Great place and we will make it a point to visit when we are in the area!

I love The Nook. My bloody mary was awesome! The atmosphere was great, we sat outside in the covered dining area. Our server was great. I ordered the spicy hash which was delicious. My cousin ordered waffles and she loved them too. I’d definitely go back when I’m in Atlanta again. The Nook had a great vibe, reasonable prices, and great service.

My first time at the Nook will unfortunately be my last, the food was good, my actual waitress was great however the young lady Cassandra that delivered the food was very rude and disrespectful. I’m really appalled at the way the management team handled the situation by blaming the customer and LYING to put the blame on others instead of reprimanding this young lady. If you have a RECORDING of me hollering at her please share it, when she brought the food out, I told her 3 times that I had the side of bacon, she proceeded to place my bacon in front of someone else, my tone was the exact same all 3 times, she on the second time I told her that I had a side of bacon she pointed to the two strips of bacon and yelled THERE IS YOUR BACON RIGHT THERE, I said I ordered…. a side of bacon. If I’m continuously stating that I ordered A Side of bacon, why would you place it in front of someone else, she then picked up the side of bacon that she placed in front of someone who had JUST ordered and slide the plate of bacon real hard into my plate!! For you all to blatantly lie and state that I was hollering at her is ridiculous!! There is NO WAY you have a video of me hollering at her for 3 extra pieces of bacon!!! You all need to be ashamed of your self. I was not shoving a phone in her face, I took pictures of her after the fact because of the way she was acting (please see the pictures attached). Do you have a video her screaming for us to LEAVE from the stairs??? Drop that video too. We are really contemplating boycotting this establishment for the lies and disrespect, including the cigarette butt under the biscuit EVERYONE that came into this restaurant are PROFESSIONAL people who work PROFESSIONAL jobs and do not have time for unnecessary foolishness. Please do drop your videos and make sure they are not AI generated, to flat out lie instead of reprimanding Cassandra (especially when other employees pulled us aside and stated that her behavior has been rude to other customers as well, show that video too please I’m sure you have it since you have camera’s) further let’s me know what type of business this is and we will NEVER patronize The Nook again!!!!
RESPONSE TO THE COMPANY: I took pictures of her because I post pictures with my reviews, I wanted the everyone that visits this place to know which employee provided PISS POOR service!!! Would you have been mad if I took a picture and said she was great? absolutely not.!!! She wasn’t and you all continue to allow her to be rude to customers, this says ALOT about your establishment!!! We are already looking into suing this company for lying and slander. We are STILL AWAITING for your all to drop these “so called” videos! It’s funny how when people of color get treated harshly by staff instead of you all trying to rectify the situation you want to place blame on the patron, we were on our way to a walk for a great cause, we came to this place thinking we would grab a bite to eat prior to the walk, instead we were met with rude staff and lying owners/management. I didn’t want to think that this place was racist because the waitress that stated Cassandra was rude, did not say she was rude to ALL AFRICAN AMERICANS however reading thru the reviews… I see where she gets her rude attitude from… Again….. it’s been 8hrs and I’m still waiting on these so called videos!! please drop them immediately

Stopped by while walking through the park to have a drink, ended up staying to try the rest. All of them hit the spot on a sunny day. Also thought it was cool that some of them went towards local charities. Had a nice selection of local beers too. What made the visit really special was when the waiter gave us some postcards when we mentioned we were out of town. Amazing, welcoming place.

Kyra and Cammie, provided me with an amazing experience on my football Sunday! However, I didn’t realize that this was a Detroit, sports bar. The dranks flowed and I had an amazing time with my new friends. I’ll definitely be back and look forward to more great Nook game days! Go Lions!

We really liked this place. It’s in a very convenient location right across from Piedmont Park. The staff is kind and the place is very dog-friendly—they even gave our dog ice water. The service was fast and good. We ordered the potato totchos, Cajun pasta, and shrimp and grits burger. The totchos were tasty, but there was only a small scoop of sour cream—I wish they used more. The Cajun pasta was heavenly with a delicious taste and a nice Cajun kick, but the amount of shrimp was disappointing—I wish they used more. The burger was delicious and filling, with smoky beef. We’ll definitely return here again.

This is a great neighborhood bar and restaurant! Great brunch! But the staff makes the difference! The bartenders are exceptional! Wendy, Matthew, Jacob, Rusty, and Drew are some of my favorites! The wait staff are super friendly! Brad, Cassandra, Rose and Sally are some of favorites!
