The Noble Lion and it’s staff take great care and attention to detail with everything they do. With a creative menu that changes seasonally, there is usually always something new to try.
– Cocktail favorites: Blood Orange Manhattan, J & L Cocktail, Raspberry Mule
– Small plate favorites: Gouda Curds, Noble Wings, Grilled Caesar Salad
– Medium plate favorites: Buffalo Shrimp, Scallops and Bacon, Calamari
– Large plate favorites: Pan Seared Halibut, French Onion Burger, Duck & Scallops (pictured)
– Dessert favorites: Creme Brulee, Carrot Cake
I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time as it tends to fill up pretty quick.
For our entrees, I ordered the halibut. The fish was completely dry on the outside, and overcooked so it was tough. The risotto was good, but I’ve have much much better risotto. Her ribeye was so thin we thought she got the wrong order. We also ordered a third entree because it was the special – braised short rib – that meat was delish, but the baked (?) risotto with that was bland and tasted funny. Everything just needed salt/seasoning.
My friend ordered a glass of red wine ($24) and it was served in a white wine glass. And the silverware was something you’d find in a Denny’s and the steak knives wood handles were rough. All the flatware was dingy.
For the prices, we just had higher expectations. Our waitress didn’t know the menu either.
Dessert was Crem brûlée and that was excellent as was the key lime cheesecake.
The management/owner needs to step up their game. Most people dine out for the whole experience so all of it matters.
I’m not even interested in giving them a second chance.
Drinks were good and service was standard.
Atmosphere was classy and 5 stars!
I added a note to my reservation, stating it was a birthday dinner, as every other restaurant I have been to will do something special for the birthday person, but no acknowledgment there.
Would give it another try but for now it’s not a place I would frequent for date nights, as there are better options area.
Finished with creme brulee and the toasted toffee, both were great but that toasted toffee was incredible.
The waitress was prompt and delightful. Will definitely be back.
THE NOBLE LION!!!
The name and the logo are already top of the line and so is the food, drinks (Old Fashioned), dessert, just about everything on their menu im sure..and NO annoying TV!!! Yeeees!!!
Can not wait to go back to try the rest, met the owner as well, very nice guy, very nice European decor and the attention to detail!! even the bathroom is very nice and clean.
We ordered baked brie, it was so creamy and delicious and paired well with the fruit compout and crackers it came with.
I ordered a 10oz ribeye medium rare that was cooked to perfection and drizzled with the most amazing peppercorn sauce.
My wife ordered Winter Bucatini (no added protein), and she said her dish was phenomenal as well. We finished the dinner with sticky toffee toast, and it was so devine.
Our server was very friendly and attentive and made for a memorable evening. Thank you so much, we will most definitely be returning sometime soon
