This small cozy restaurant has an excellent high end menu with fantastic dishes! I had the walleye and Scallops with corn sauce. I wanted to lick my plate clean it was so good. The service was outstanding and we will definitely come back as im craving it again as I write this review. I’ve attached photos of our meals and if you’re reading this, there is no reason you shouldn’t make a reservation right now. Expect them to be 2 weeks out for reservations as this is a small extremely good restaurant. Parking in the back and always hard to find a spot. Enjoy!

Excellent craft cocktails, bar and amazing food. Short ribs were outstanding and the calamari was delectable. Clean restrooms. Neat sparkle star bar next door for Christmas.

We came across Noble lion about a year ago and have been impressed each and every time we have returned. Last night special of Bison Striploin was prepared perfectly. The staff and owner Marc were a pleasant welcoming face when we arrived for my parents 57th wedding anniversary. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

A Noble review.

The Noble Lion and it’s staff take great care and attention to detail with everything they do. With a creative menu that changes seasonally, there is usually always something new to try.

– Cocktail favorites: Blood Orange Manhattan, J & L Cocktail, Raspberry Mule

– Small plate favorites: Gouda Curds, Noble Wings, Grilled Caesar Salad

– Medium plate favorites: Buffalo Shrimp, Scallops and Bacon, Calamari

– Large plate favorites: Pan Seared Halibut, French Onion Burger, Duck & Scallops (pictured)

– Dessert favorites: Creme Brulee, Carrot Cake

I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time as it tends to fill up pretty quick.

I’d walk across the street to Winchester and Rye all day long. The Noble Lion fell short on everything except a couple of apps and dessert. Gosh I hate leaving a bad review but everything is so expensive these days and I know how much I rely on reviews so I wanted give an honest one here. The Gouda cheese curds were very bland (but the sauces were excellent). I enjoyed my grilled Caesar salad and my friend loved her salmon with crusty bread.

For our entrees, I ordered the halibut. The fish was completely dry on the outside, and overcooked so it was tough. The risotto was good, but I’ve have much much better risotto. Her ribeye was so thin we thought she got the wrong order. We also ordered a third entree because it was the special – braised short rib – that meat was delish, but the baked (?) risotto with that was bland and tasted funny. Everything just needed salt/seasoning.

My friend ordered a glass of red wine ($24) and it was served in a white wine glass. And the silverware was something you’d find in a Denny’s and the steak knives wood handles were rough. All the flatware was dingy.

For the prices, we just had higher expectations. Our waitress didn’t know the menu either.

Dessert was Crem brûlée and that was excellent as was the key lime cheesecake.

The management/owner needs to step up their game. Most people dine out for the whole experience so all of it matters.

I’m not even interested in giving them a second chance.

Not cool with being charged 5% to pay with a credit card. Scallops were not crusted and bison came with a ton of fries to compensate for the tiny portion. Reserved with a note that it was for a birthday, but staff had no idea. Overpriced for what it is, but perhaps folks in Victoria dont have many other options.

Heard great things about this restaurant so took my wife here for her birthday. The bison was so tough I couldn’t even eat it, very pour cut of meat. The server did offer to get something different so tried the ribeye which tasted good but was the thinnest ribeye I’ve ever seen.
Drinks were good and service was standard.
Atmosphere was classy and 5 stars!
I added a note to my reservation, stating it was a birthday dinner, as every other restaurant I have been to will do something special for the birthday person, but no acknowledgment there.
Would give it another try but for now it’s not a place I would frequent for date nights, as there are better options area.

Everything about this place was fantastic. We had the Jagerschnitzel and the steak au poivre which was phenomenal. The sear and seasoning on the ribeye was spot on and a perfect medium rare.
Finished with creme brulee and the toasted toffee, both were great but that toasted toffee was incredible.
The waitress was prompt and delightful. Will definitely be back.

Everything was top-notch for a special occasion dinner for my wife and myself (anniversary)
We ordered baked brie, it was so creamy and delicious and paired well with the fruit compout and crackers it came with.
I ordered a 10oz ribeye medium rare that was cooked to perfection and drizzled with the most amazing peppercorn sauce.
My wife ordered Winter Bucatini (no added protein), and she said her dish was phenomenal as well. We finished the dinner with sticky toffee toast, and it was so devine.
Our server was very friendly and attentive and made for a memorable evening. Thank you so much, we will most definitely be returning sometime soon
