The food is really good at this long-time restaurant staple. The reason I give only 4 stars is the service – no tableside banter or personal touch. Just throwing plates and drill Sargent mannerisms. Aside from that, it was a great date location with my boo.

I enjoyed my meal. I ordered the combo beef / lamb and chicken. The portions are enough for 2 people. The beef/lamb was very tender & juicy. I will return.

We walked in for a table for 7 on a summer Friday night around 8pm. The restaurant was not too busy. The falafel was the best, really tasty, hot and soft inside and not overly crunchy or fried on the outside. The pita bread was yummy. I liked how the vegetarian maklouba was lightly seasoned. These days eating out usually end up eating too salty or greasy but not with the maklouba here.

Dining at The Nile of Hyde Park was a pleasant experience. The service was great. The atmosphere was spacious yet quaint. The authentic middle eastern food was scrumptous! I enjoyed the Jerusalem Salad and the combination platter of Shish Kabob Beef & Shish Tabuk (marinated chicken) served with sauteed vegetables and Middle Eastern potatoes. I would certainly dine here again.

I have been patronizing this establishment for over 20 years after being introduced to it by a friend , starting from the older location. The last 2 visits including today’s visit have been disappointing My favorite is and has been the #14 Combination with potatoes and Lebaneese salad as my preferred side.

Amazing food. Good service. Not crowded. Found street parking about half a block away. It’s very good and authentic. We had shawarma and kabobs with an appetizer.

I got two sandwiches: shish kebab and kifta kebab as takeout order. The wait only took 10 minutes and the food came out smelling amazing. I love that it’s filling and delicious. Personally i prefer the kifta kebab. Its perfect for quick meal near campus and reasonably price for hyde park. The sandwich comes with inhouse chips but it would be great if i can sub it for a drink, which might be a better pairing. Would definitively come back and try more items!

Really bad food. We ordered 2 salads which were both atrocious. Made with cheap oil (not even olive, to say nothing about extra virgin) and cheap distilled white vinegar. The meat was bad, the service minimal. We spent 100 for 2 adults and 3 kids

I was so excited to go there , because they had kibbeh. They didn’t have any when I came . The naan was hot and didn’t taste fresh . The rice wasn’t basmati that’s what I was looking for , everyone food came out you can see the smoke . Mine wasn’t that way at all.. I came for my mom born day . I was so disappointed most of my food went in the garbage. I chopped eating it , paid and left . I am not the type who goes ,and act crazy and complain. I just know not to come back, and recommend to anyone.

The good: clean, nice decoration, roomy and great service. The bad: grilled meats not tasty at all. I ordered combination plate which has four meets only one was flavorful ( chicken kebab)and the other three ( chicken shwarma, beef kebab, beef kufta))are far from tasty. Did veggies are really bad. Just boiled not grilled and no flavor at all. Lintels soup was great. The place got busy after I got in and everybody around me ordered the casseroles which is rice missed with some veggie and a sauce plus side salads. No one ordered grilled meats which was interesting. Usually that’s the flagship if Arabic cuisine. Give it a try and let us know.
