The Nibbler is probably my favorite restaurant in the Gaithersburg area. Decent prices, friendly staff and delicious food. I go for the Lomo Saltado every time. The meat and veggies are fantastically cooked and seasoned, and their juices soak into the fries and rice to make them just as delicious.

A small Mom and Pop type establishment with dine-in seating. Friendly smiles from the owner as soon as you walk into the door, and immediately provides wonderful customer service. My girlfriend introduced me to this place a couple of years ago, and I’ve never been disappointed with every visit. I absolutely love the Lomo Saltado, and my family loves the Ropa Vieja, which are prepared to order within eye sight, as the grill is directly behind the cash register. We absolutely love this place and I highly recommend it if you are in the area. Though it’s limited seating, there’s always carry out traffic from patrons that appear to be satisfied returning customers.

Food came out quick, fresh, and tasty. Perfect proportion size meals. There were only 2 staff, so at time it was difficult to get someone’s attention. Enjoyed looking at the hand paintings on the walls.

As a fellow South American, I enjoyed the Lomo Saltado very much. The atmosphere is needing a little extra touch of life but for a small spot that is more of a hole in the wall, it really surprised me and found the staff to be very pleasant.

Love this little place! Food and service are excellent. Not much of a drink selection (canned/bottled sodas & iced teas; there were some beer in their fridge), but that didn’t both us one bit. The Inka Chicken was moist delicious and went well with the yuca and fried plantains. The Ropa Vieja was just as delicious and partnered perfectly with the rice, black beans and also came with the fried plantains. Food servings were very generous. We were full but we really wanted to try their Bananas Tres Leches and their Alfajores – – we were so happy we did! The tres leches wasn’t too banana-ey, which was great for me. We can’t wait to come back and try their other dishes!

My wife and I ordered food for pickup. We had a lomo saltado, ají de gallina, the calamari, empanadas de pollo and some alfajores. We were delighted with the food, the way it was packaged and most importantly- the way it tasted. We will come back for more, delicious Peruvian food!
