This service is always great. The food was great!!!
If you’re in the downtown area give it a try for lunch. There’s parking across the street in an underground parking garage. They charge a few books, but nothing major the shelby chicken is my favorite, but we tried something new.We had the beef, and it was amazing.I highly recommend the beef.
The energy is immaculate
I spent $80+ for an appetizer, a soup, and an entree. I expected the food to be decent.
There’s no egg in the egg drop soup. You get some broth, egg, carrot, and a tiny amount of chicken.
The pot stickers didn’t come with any type of sauce.
The “chow main” doesn’t use the same type of noodle you would get from every other place that serves chow main in LA.
None of this would be that big a deal if the food was even slightly palatable. I had to spit out every bite because it was so disgusting. Avoid this crap like it were the plague.
I was disappointed in the quality and amount of food for the price I paid for. They say you can order a half of anything on the menu which logically to me and others in my office meant that it would be half the cost of the plate…..no that was not the case. They charge you slightly less than the full price, its off by a $1 or $2 so might as well get the full plate. That should have been my first red light.
Second I received my I ordered a half order of lettuce chicken wraps and won ton soup. The soup was decent, needed some added flavor to it and I added soy sauce to it. The chicken was minced, had bell peppers, onions and the was assembly yourself style so I got different containers and then had to arrange it myself.
I tried another co workers spicy chicken which was flavorful but it was out weight but all of the food that was a letdown.
And for being known for their Chinese Chicken Salad and boosting so much about it…that was a big let down. My coworkers said it was not fresh, didn’t have all the ingredients on the menu (missing mandarins) and the flavor wasn’t all that great.
Overall I would not try this place again, just too simple for me.
Lo mein was a little soft for me but I’m super picky; orange chicken was perfectly cooked as was rice and the shrimp with snow peas. What I’d really like to emphasize is that ALL items had the perfect amount of sauce, nothing left in the container as it should be. So many Chinese restaurants drown the food in sauce. This was absolutely the perfect amount.
Not your typical American Chinese; we will order again.
