Delicious food, everything was so fresh and flavorful. Scallion pancakes were probably the best I’ve ever had. The owner Rong is such a kind woman and you can tell she works so hard to make sure everyone is satisfied.

I wish I could give this place a better rating but I cannot. The dishes I ate steamed shrimp and vegetables and tofu and broccoli with brown rice was good. I enjoyed them. The vegetables were fresh and that’s important. My father had the sweet and sour chicken was clearly frozen and terrible. I mean the chicken was processed with a bread coating so was all bread deep fried and served with the sauce on the side. Just dreadful. They liked the spare ribs. I never saw such small egg rolls. Anyway our server was so nice and accommodating. There was a new server and it was her first day. She brought over the chicken and we asked what it was. She had no idea and neither did we. The decor was terrible. The new owners have put zero money into the appearance but since it was my first time there I wouldn’t know. It really how could it have been worse? Put some plants in there? Pictures on the walls? Set up the tables nicely? In the bathroom they left the pail with the mop in it! A dirty rag was on the sink and the garbage pail had something that wasn’t a garbage bag in it. Overall I guess for takeout it would be fine if you ordered the right dishes but that would be hit and miss. Although it was inexpensive

The new place looks great. I was skeptical about the food but the new owner has made it get duty to make it great.
I am gluten free, I am not celiac but extremely sick when I eat gluten. She cannot gaurentee celiac safe but she does provide.
I had the chicken and broccoli and boneless spare ribs. They were excellent. This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered from them. The food is very tasty not like the other fast food Chinese food places. Presentation of food is beautiful. Very satisfied with service and quality. Would highly recommend this place. If you have gluten sensativity all for your options, Remeber, the sauces like terriaky and soy have gluten but the duck sauce is OK. The white sauces are OK but let them know so they are aware of the gluten free.
Over all, I love it that the owner really cares that you enjoy the food.
I think you’ll be happy eating there.
Update 6/22/24
Food is still excellent. I got gluten free vegetable fried rice. It’s great.

First time checking this spot out, and turns out they’ve got a new owner! Legit Chinese food! The owner lady is super friendly, and get this: if you’re hankering for something off-menu, just give ’em a heads up a week or two ahead, or just ask on the spot and they might whip it up for you! We went all in with the Chongqing diced chicken (a total winner), the hot and spicy fish fillet, some flavorful fried rice, and the lo mein – gotta have that wok-char taste, right? Well, they nailed it! Overall, a great experience!

I am in totally disbelief of the service and the food in this establishment. I ordered a very simple dish since I have never been here but I’ve had this dish elsewhere. First off walking in the place I was wondering were they going out of business. There were boxes all over the place in chairs on tables open closed boxes the counter was cluttered as.well there were no other customers so it was a bit odd but my husband and I were hungry. I ordered chicken egg foo young I ve had numerous places in the past so.i figured it’s simple, well what a disgrace. The etiquette is horrible for customers to dine in. The egg foo young arrived looking like dry hockey pucks w a tiny bowl of what was to be gravy. Clearly whoever made it was a amateur I had no intention of eating I broke it open with my fork out curiosity. Wow unbelievable I advised I did not want and the waitress got offended and I told her I’ve never seen this dish look this way she got very rude and told me I had to pay for it regardless even tho I did not eat it. The tables are NOT set for indoor dining very unorganized I asked for soy sauce for the rice was given 2 packets. Can I tell you this is the worst establishment I’ve ever encountered in Rockland.

When I lived in the area I used to come here all the time so being in town I figured I’d stop by. I did not know they sold the place and I spoke to the new owner and she said she took over a few months ago. Very good Chinese food. I had sesame chicken and wonton soup and some dumplings. Now that I live outside of New York. I miss Chinese food the most and this was very good. If you are local to the area I would suggest stopping in.

First time dining in since opening under new management, and it was delightful! It was quiet and cozy on a Sunday afternoon and the owner was very nice and happy to have us. We ordered some steamed pork dumplings and a few shrimp dishes, which were all delicious. The pork and Mongolian shrimp had incredible sauces and the veggies were all fresh and crisp. The owner came by to tell us all about the high quality ingredients she gets and how they started serving soup dumplings, which I haven’t seen outside of NYC. I ordered my usual (which I have been ordering to go since they opened) so I will be coming back for the soup dumplings ASAP! Overall it was a pleasant and relaxing Sunday visit, and I hope that more people catch on to their re-opening. I would love to see this place bustling again!
