This place may be good for one to ten lunch orders, but they cannot handle cooking for events. Hired them to provide meals for 200 guest for a repast. Did not receive the quantity of food ordered nor the quality of the single plate ordered lunches they sell during the normal weekday. Based on the unpleasant experience my grieving family and our quest had after the burial of our mother, we are convinced that this business is not equipped to handle large events. We paid a handsome price and were extremely disappointed. I will not make this mistake again. Sticking with regular day to day operations should be okay. BUT cooking for large events is not something they do well.

This food was good! I ordered the Smoked Ribs plate with cabbage and cheese spaghetti—ON POINT. The smoked ribs were moist, but still a bit firm. The cheese spaghetti and cabbage was seasoned really well and had a KICK to it. I spent $15 on this plate—WELL WORTH IT. The only regret I have is eating this on my lunch break because I’m full and need a good nap! 10/10 would recommend!

Ethel’s is a great place to go and eat there food is amazing. love the fish and fries and smothered pork chops in gravy. corn and yams omg so to die for and don’t forget the people they is so loving and kind and sweet. Ethel’s is like my home away from home especially when i don’t want to cook.
