The food here is nothing short of amazing! Truly, it was some of the best lasagna, and mac n cheese we’ve ever had! The wonderful waitress took great care of us despite the fact that we accidentally came in near closing. The web site said 9, but they were closed earlier. They still seated us and took good care of us. It’s such an impeccably clean establishment. The atmosphere is a warm and inviting one. I highly reccomend this is you like Italian, and home made food. They make their food fresh in house. There plenty of room to accommodate parties of any size. Definitely worth a drive. I HIGHLY reccomend this place. We called around other places and the people were rude, this place took us in and fed us. Please stop in!

I did not have a good experience with this place. Service was good, and they did take the food we didn’t eat off the bill it is a nice place. The chicken parmesan was bad, the spaghetti was really dry. Some of the bacon in my loaded mashed potatoes had a maple syrup taste to it almost like the bacon was leftovers from the morning. The shrimp dinner was ok. The mild chicken wings had no flavor. The bread was good.

The gentleman server was terrific! I had the grilled chicken salad and loved it. I’m glad mom suggested The Anchor Inn for lunch when I was visiting from Maryland.

This restaurant doesn’t even deserve one star. The owner was quite rude and the food was absolutely terrible. My mother ordered seasoned wings and expected them to be seasoned with the usual seasoned salt. They contained sugar and her being a type 1 diabetic, she cannot have a lot of sugar so she asked to send the wings back. The owner proceeded to ask what the problem was with the wings and my mom said about the sugar and he proceeded to get an attitude and was very rude and not at all friendly.

This place is hit or miss, After a GREAT first impression I have been disappointed my last 3 times there. The Italian menu is awesome. They need to learn to not cook everything in the same oil. Wings and fish flavored French Fries don’t cut it. The one female cook I think is gone. I’ve found portions big and taste lacking since she hasn’t been cooking And don’t order cheesy garlic bread you’ll get regular bread with cheese and garlic butter. The spaghetti served aldenti, watery sauce. Chicken patty with cheese dont cut it as chicken parm. 3 strike rule New Archor is OUT.

Very good food, great service and reasonable prizes. Large portions too. I hesitate to rate it highly because I love going there and not having to wait for a seat. Best pizza around too! Love the build your own pasta option. The homemade bread is to die for!

We called ahead and reserved a table. The waitress would only let us have one menu. The food wasn’t good at all. Homemade Mac & cheese was a soupy slop. The fish fry was dry. The waitress never asked us if we wanted dessert. Maybe she was sparing us? Good thing I had candy in my purse to help get the taste out of my mouth.

Pizza was awesome 15yrs ago. Just keeps going down hill. Very little sauce and $20 a pizza. I drive 20 miles to get it. I wouldn’t drive 5 blocks now. He better get someone else in the kitchen.
