First time here since I’m new to this area. I’d heard all good things so I decided to try their happy hour.
It’s easy to find and it’s an attractive building. Plenty of parking for happy hour on a Wednesday, but I can imagine that’s not the case on a Friday or a weekend. It’s on a side street that’s pretty tight.
It was nice (but a little dated with the beige carpet) decor. It was also very clean.
I sat at the bar and was handed menus immediately. I chose to have an Absolut mule and the spinach dip. The mule was small but fine…I didn’t taste the vodka though. The spinach dip was pretty tasteless and I was disappointed. I ate about a third of it and was done.
I decided to change course since I needed lunch for the rest of the week, so I got the blackened chicken pasta with garlic bread and a house Cabernet Sauvignon.
Much better choice, althoughthe garlic bread was kind of soggy… not really toasted.
I’ll definitely try this place again, maybe on a weekend evening or something. I’d like to try more of the menu (it’s huge). It’s not cheap but not exorbitant either.
Also, the patio area was nice. I ate inside but went out there to smoke. The bartender told me there were ashtrays out there but I had to ask a server for one.

Worst ny strip I’ve ever had. I had to saw through each bite. I told waitress it was bad, no comment. Terribly tough and chewy. I’ve been pleased with other dishes, but do not recommend the steak.

We came here for a date night from Roanoke. First time and we really enjoyed it! We sat outside and really liked the atmosphere. Food was delicious! I got the BBQ pork mac & cheese and husband got the Cajun sirloin! We also got the spinach dip for an appetizer and it was a little small but very tasty!!

Food was just okay and a bit overpriced for what you get. I ordered the crab cake lunch meal with sautéed spinach and sweet potatoes. Very small portions and small crab cake (notice the size compared to the 2 oz sauce ramekin beside it) for $16. My daughter ordered from the kids menu which boasted a price of $8 for one entree that was supposed to include a side. She ordered the tortellini pasta with a side of strawberries. When I got the bill, there was an extra five dollar charge for the strawberries. Again, small portions. Our server, Michelle, was friendly enough, but definitely seemed like she’d rather be anywhere else. Never smiled once, but was attentive enough to where we didn’t feel overlooked. I probably wouldn’t go back here to eat again. The best thing about this place was the open, clean atmosphere.

A gorgeous restaurant with a ton of potential- I was a little disappointed with our food after seeing such great reviews. The fried tomatoes were decent, egg rolls lacked flavor, the steak was not great, mashed potatoes not flavorful. The best part of the meal was the bbq chicken crunch wrap I enjoyed that a lot.

This place is so nice! Our food came in huge portions and everything was so delicious! I highly recommend the mussels and steaks, and they were cooked to perfection. The waitress was very good too and made sure we had everything we needed.

Was in the area for a wedding and needed a place that could accommodate a large group. During the week, they were able to do it easily. Great food, reasonable prices, a LOT of choices on the menu. Serving sizes are large, we saw many people taking leftovers home. The staff was amazing at keeping our group happy.

Unfortunately a recent lunch went
south due to a handful of issues with our entrees. It’s not worth going into detail but I will
say it was one of the few times I’ve ever sent a dish back. On a positive note the
fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese were extremely good, definitely the highlight
of the meal.
I want to point out our server did a great job. She was patient with us while we took a
while to look through the stacked menu, and also when we expressed our dissatisfaction she was professional and alerted management to take care of things.
The manager that responded was very understanding and comped the entrees, which
wasn’t our original intention but was appreciated. Even though our meal was a three
star experience I’m confident this was a hiccup and eventually we’ll give them another
shot.

We came here on a recommendation and it was well worth it. They had so many options. I had a tough time choosing and I will have to come back to try more of the menu. I got the pulled pork tots (my family doesn’t like slaw so we got it on the side and I ate it all) and Santa Fe Blackened Chicken(well seasoned and juicy) with sauteed garden veggies and garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was amazing. The black bean and corn salsa that came with the chicken was great all by itself. They also give you good sized portions so you won’t leave hungry. I would definitely recommend them if you’re in the area.
