Ample parking, friendly staff, and clean restrooms.
I ordered the fried green tomatoes and the blackened shrimp tots. The corn pico was absolutely disgusting! I literally couldn’t stomach it. In my pictures you can see how the shrimp is completely overcooked. It’s supposed to make a c, not an o. It was very rubbery and hard to chew which was disappointing because it had a nice flavor. The queso wasn’t bad. What I was most disappointed about were the tomatoes. They look seasoned but they aren’t. Not at all. I think it may just be parsley in the breading for garnish. Ultimately, I threw everything but the tots, queso, jalapeños, and bacon away and ended up ordering taco bell instead. They were friendly but that food was a waste of money.
Came here with the family… This was my first time coming and I’ve heard good things about this place and finally made it… the server was excellent I wish I could have remembered her name… the food was good and for the first time I actually came to the restaurant where I didn’t need to add salt to my food everything tastes like great.. however I did think some of the prices for some of the dishes was too much…we had a wide variety of foods… 5 apps and 6 entrees this was only a couple things that we ordered (pictures) try this place at least once
Would like to start off by saying Neighbors is my favorite restaurant pretty much. I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed! The reason I’m leaving a 4 star review instead of 5 is because I went Wednesday evening and ordered the Surf n’ Turf. Everything was great, except my steak sadly. I’m not one to send food back to the kitchen, and our server was great, no need to mention it to her cause it’s not like she’s the one who made the steak. I ordered the sirloin Medium, well… here’s my photo of what it was. Maybe the kitchen staff was overwhelmed but it was waaaay over cooked. I usually only come here on the weekends so I’m not sure if it’s different staffing or what, but mistakes happen. I am reluctant to getting the steak next time though because a medium well steak is pretty much inedible to me lol. But hey, my dog enjoyed it! Also we ordered a beer and wine and didn’t receive them until our entrees came, but if the bar was busy that’s understandable. Needless to say, still love neighbors but will probably order something else next time.
(Pictures included) Bare minimum slow service. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all and there were clearly enough servers. I was immediately turned off when we received our drinks and the water glass was dirty and literally had food in it. One of our sodas tasted like it had soap in it. We had to ask for new drinks. We asked for a sirloin medium and got one medium rare that somehow despite being almost raw managed to be extremely tough. We also asked for a ribeye with NO mushrooms and received what clearly wasn’t a real ribeye steak and didn’t even look like a real steak at all, with fake grill marks and mushrooms (I had to scrape them off). As you can see in the picture it literally looks like a turkey burger…
The food was rather enjoyable and the service was very good. It has a nice environment to enjoy with others. My issue is they are now charging more for using a credit card. There’s no sign on the door alerting you to this practice. It’s on the receipt. Given that a lot of people don’t carry cash anymore, it’s their way of pocketing a bit more. For this reason, I won’t be back to dine there. Be upfront and post it before you walk in rather than a surprise when you go to pay.
Went to lunch with the wife and kids, was hungry to try something different. Prices were reasonably good, service staff was very attentive and helpful. Food was fresh and hot with a very good selection. Will definitely go back and try a different entree next time. The atmosphere was nice! Definitely recommend a try.
Absolutely wonderful 5 ⭐ service. 5 ⭐ environment. However, our steaks were over cooked. The sauteed mushroom’s were greasy not buttery. Asparagus was literally out of the garden fresh crunchy with the same greasy flavor as the mushroom’s. The smashed garlic potatoes were too garlicky for my taste. Small portions. No bread on the menu nor offered with the meal. $101.00 for 3 people.
My wife and I have ate on many special occasions at Neighbors Place but I believe tonight as we celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary was the best one yet! My wife got her usual chargrilled chicken and tonight I got the surf and turf, 8oz Sirloin steak cooked medium and a crab cake and let me tell you that steak was probably the best one I’ve had in a long time if not the best yet and the crab cake was tasty and nice for its size! We also got mozzarella cheese sticks for an appetizer which were the some of the best I’ve ever had and you get a decent amount too! Frankie was our waitress tonight and she was just amazing and took real good care of us and I thank her and the cooks who prepared our meals for making our anniversary celebration awesome and one to remember! Worth every penny indeed!
Crab cake was delicious and not over breaded. Asparagus was a little over cooked for my taste, but broccoli had a nice crisp taste. Staff was great and parking easy accessible. Average pricing and good portion size.
