I’ve tried Toritos at other restaurants, but they never seem to compare to the ones The Neighborhood used to serve—they were truly some of the best. Please consider this a friendly request to bring Toritos back to the appetizer menu, if only to add a bit more variety.
At the moment, five of the seven appetizer options are French fry–based. Just some food for thought…pun intended.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service—especially Veronica behind the bar. She is not only beautiful, but incredibly friendly, fun, and genuinely attentive. She has a great personality, remembers drinks, checks in often, and makes everyone feel welcome the moment they sit down. You can tell she loves what she does, and it completely elevates the experience.
The drinks are consistently excellent, whether you’re in the mood for a perfectly poured beer, a classic cocktail, or something a little more creative. Pair that with the tasty food—flavorful, well-prepared, and exactly what you want while watching sports—and you’ve got a winning combination.
Between the great atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, and standout service from Veronica, this sports bar is a must-visit in downtown Tucson. I’ll definitely be back again and again.
We grabbed a menu and self seated. No one got up to greet us and we sat for about 3 minutes and they kept laughing and chatting. We looked back at the server and a manager yelled “hey!” From behind a door, assuming to get their attention and prompt them to serve us. We got up and left the empt restaurant- they made no effort to say anything to us and made us feel very unwelcome. If they don’t want to work or even greet patrons on a Friday night, it’s their loss for not training their servers properly. Also Google gives its high rating, but said it wasn’t busy- should’ve been a clue. Parking downtown is tricky and we got street parking that we didn’t want to waste- so we went to Konica across the street and were served with great service and good food.
Avoid this place at all costs.
Vero’s vibe is unmatched — friendly, confident, and sharp as hell. She remembers orders, makes killer recommendations, and actually makes you feel welcome instead of rushed. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows in every drink that hits the bar.
