Our food was excellent! I had the fried catfish. Delicious! We also had to apple butter glazed pork chop and the bacon burger. All excellent! The fried biscuits with apple butter were the absolute bomb! Our server was amazing. The atmosphere cozy and authentic. Highly recommend!

We had had BLTs with fries and soft drinks. Sandwiches were a little messy to eat but delicious as were the fries. Drinks were cold and crisp. Waiter was friendly and very helpful. We loved the atmosphere outside.

Husband and I had dinner here tonight, Aug. 15th and it was absolutely delicious!
We ate outdoors, really enjoyed it, thankful it was mostly shaded. The salmon was cooked perfectly, I enjoyed the rice much more than I expected – very flavorful.
Whoever was playing music there live was doing a phenomenal job!!! (Wish we caught their name!)
Husband loved the apple butter and our server was very nice.
Indoors they have items for sale from different vendors/people, everything seemed quality and handmade.
We will be coming back soon 🙂

The only thing that made this place exceptional was a server named Emma. She was fantastic with recommendations and a great personality. The fried green tomatoes were good and I enjoyed them. However, that was it. I’ve been here several times in the past but this is sadly my last. Something has changed in the past five months or so. The two piece chicken for $15 was not good.
Meaning the breast tasted good but little meat. The “tiny” wing on my plate was laughable and no meat, just batter.
I actually thought it was a joke. Probably a $10 meal at best. See attached picture. Also, no more complementary biscuits and apple butter. My opinion, this place is may be struggling to stay afloat with food prices and staffing. Who knows what has happened. However, the fried chicken dish finished it for me. I’ll eat elsewhere in Nashville from now on. Just disappointed.

I’m so sorry that I have to write this review, but I am absolutely baffled why anyone would allow their restaurant to serve this. I got a chicken Caesar salad (no Caesar, instead I wanted Italian dressing) so I asked for grilled chicken…. And I got 2 pieces of BOILED chicken. BOILED. If you don’t do grilled (???), tell me instead of BOILING my chicken. Also what is with the 2 blobs of chicken. The gigantic blob number 1 in the middle and the curled up second blob to the right. I’m sorry. Just absolutely baffled how you could serve up the driest, grossest, BOILED CHICKEN on. Caesar salad. I asked for grilled, I just can’t believe this. The fact that the table next to me also got the same exact salad and also didn’t touch their chicken either they left it off to the side just like I did. Because what compels someone to boil chicken like that and then throw it on a plate with the white looking foam on the sides of it. I’m still disgusted just thinking about it and looking at these pictures. Also, our server was great. She had a great attitude, great personality, great person altogether. This has nothing to do with her.but yeah …. Please …just never again ..

We ate outside on a beautiful night. My wife got the cucumber dill salad with salmon and I had the apple butter bacon burger. Both were great. Prices we reasonable. Fried biscuits with apple butter are a must. Our server Elijah was very attentive and friendly.

Elijah (Eli) is an excellent server! He suggested substituting salmon in place of the blue cheese on my salad and it was so good!!!! Highly recommend this place and hope you are fortunate enough to have him as your server!

Had the catfish, it had lots of skin on it causing it to be overwhelmingly fishy. It tasted as if it was prebattered frozen store bought instead of cornmeal hand battered to order. I could only stand two tiny bites of it. The fries and hush puppies were just ok. My wife had the pork chop with apple butter and the pork chop wasn’t cooked through and the apple butter was just dark apples sauce. Asparagus was the chef vegetable that came with it and was to tough to eat. I hate to waste or complain about food, but this was hands down worst dining experience of my life

Ate here once before. sat outside a few years ago in the summer and the sandwich was good. We had their chicken dinner today and it was fabulous. the chicken was tender and juicy. everything tasted good. The Fried Green Tomatoes were among some of the best I have had. Our waitress Mattie gave us great service. All the staff there was very friendly. Will definitely make a trip down here more often.
