Fine dining Seafood restaurant with cozy atmosphere right on the water! You don’t need to dress up here, but it is definitely a more upscale environment with higher prices. However, the quality is incredible and you’re getting large portions of food. The cream of crab soup is the best I’ve ever had! Definitely try the cream of crab soup. Their crab cakes were delicious and large. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was delicious. If you like scallops try their scallops appetizer, it was tasty. The Filet mignon with green beans, mashed potatoes and fried onion strings was great too. The location was great, right on the water, between two hotels. If you love being by the water, this is the seafood restaurant for you. Perfect for date night or a evening out with colleagues. Not exactly meant for kids, but you can bring them. They have a great indoor and enclosed outdoor dining area, and a bar inside. Very friendly staff. Reservations ahead of time encouraged because this place gets busy, especially in the summer it is very popular.

We decided to have our Valentine’s dinner at The Narrows. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us to a great dining experience. The atmosphere was lively yet family-friendly, and the Valentine’s day menu offered some additional items not available on the restaurant’s usual menu.

We had a 6:00 pm reservation but we arrived about 15 minutes early. The staff was very accommodating and seated us right away. We appreciated this and were impressed because the restaurant is such a popular spot.

We both ordered soup. My girlfriend had the cream of crab and I had maryland crab. They were delicious. For our entrees we ordered the rainbow trout and the roasted haddock. To finish our meal I had mousse in a bag, my favorite dessert on their menu.

Gavyn was a very nice server. Everything was served fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The seafood was perfectly prepared and paired with well chosen sides. It was absolutely worth our long drive!

We always enjoy this restaurant and love coming back whenever we get a chance. Highly recommended for seafood lovers looking for quality food in Grasonville, MD!

Enjoyed lunch on a Sunday in early January. Beautiful water view. Great service and delicious food. Tried the winter martini, cream of crab soup, nuts and berries salad with filet, beef tips with mashed potatoes and fried oysters with cole slaw, hot fudge sundae and creme brulee. Soup was creamy and thick with good flavor. Tomato basil dressing was light and refreshing. Beef tips were tender with no fat. Creme brulee would have been better in a more shallow dish. Waitress Angela was friendly and attentive, gave ample time for each course. Would definitely dine there again.

We really enjoyed this place. The calamari was fresh and not overcooked like most places in this area, and the crab tart was fantastic. I forgot to take pictures of the crabcakes but those were the highlight of the meal. The water view is really nice and makes it a great spot to sit and relax, especially if you get a window table. Also appreciated how clean the bathrooms are, that’s always a plus. We’ll definitely be coming back.

We just had dinner here and by far this place has the best food of everywhere we have been to at Kent Island. We love eating at the other places but the food at the narrows is absolutely delicious!
We started off with scallops and burrata w/tomatoes. Both were absolutely delicious. From the very ripe and fresh tomatoes to the sweet strawberries with whatever wonderful things they added to the scallops. I also ordered the cream of crab soup and it is so yummy.
From our main dishes we had the Cioppino, chilian sea bass (a special and my fav of all four dishes), pecan crusted catfish, and crusted salmon.
We also ordered fried green tomatoes and asparagus as additional sides.
Also to note, the espresso martini is also fabulous.
Everything we had was delicious and we will be back!
Also our server, Kelsey, was a doll and took great care of us.

My wife and I ate there today. I saw the reviews online and decided to drive 1 hour to get there from Delaware. We both enjoyed the meals; the service was great and the waterfront seating was a treat. I highly recommend the cream of crab soup. The crab cake was good, but I’ve had better in restaurants in Baltimore and Harford County. Overall, it was a great experience. The prices were very reasonable.

Love this place. I have been going here for years. They have the best cream of crab, and provide a side of sherry.

The Oysters Rockefeller is very good as well.

By far the best Cream of crab soup and crab cakes that you will ever find! We were so happy when Waze detoured us around Baltimore and sent us right by here as we had not been in many years since we moved to North Carolina. I’m happy to say the food was better than I remembered and it was a real treat! Also delighted to find out you can order online and have the soup and crab cakes delivered!

This is by far the best she-crab soup and can cakes that you can ever find! We used to come here regularly but moved to NC 6 years ago. We were going to NJ recently and due to traffic in Baltimore we were re-routed over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. We were so delighted to go right to the Narrows restaurant for lunch and get our favorite soup and appetizer! It was better than we remembered and also found out we can now order online as well for delivery in NC! Yay!

We were staying at the Hyatt Place nextdoor and was recommended to us. They are super friendly and very attentive. Meg said the Cioppino was worth the wait since it was made to order. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD. This is all we had and we were not disappointed.
Some beautiful scenery from the outside, enclosed area.
More stars if I could
