Wondering where to go for dinner, and not having a reservation, we chanced a Thursday night walk-in at The Muddy Duck. Great idea, because we ended up being served an excellent meal. We started with a half-dozen oysters in the half shell, and moved on to a bowlful of mussels in a light cream sauce and fish and chips. Everything was wonderfully fresh, simply yet elegantly presented, reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and attentive.

This place is a real gem if you’re in St. Aubin (or anywhere in Jersey!). The atmosphere is wonderful, with friendly and attentive service. Delicious food for reasonable prices.

I personally recommend the crab & lobster bisque. If you get the whole crab for your main course, be prepared to stay for a while, as it is absolutely massive (and reasonably priced given its size). They give you a bib to protect your front while you eat it, and seeing the staff put it on our friend who chose it was hilarious!

Came here for a lunchtime bite to eat. Had the last portion of moules mariniere plus a tuna sandwich. The mussels were delicious and the tuna sandwich was good. The service was excellent and we would definitely recommend a visit here.

A cosy restaurant with plenty of character. The food was great, everybody enjoyed their choices, and the service was friendly. One of the best meals we’ve ever had in Jersey.

Wanted a quick lunch before my ferry so I ran in here. A couple of parking spaces onsite so I didn’t have to worry about parking cards etc as I had an hour. Service was quick as it was a Friday lunch but more importantly very friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely..prices were not too bad. Springs rolls( tiny ones and Asian slaw) I think were pricey for £7.50 if I’m honest but gambas(£8 for 4) were tasty. Overall good experience.

My husband and I turned up tonight without a booking. They were obviously very busy and at the last minute managed to fit us in.
So glad they did! Food was amazing, staff really friendly, atmosphere chilled and comfortable, cocktails soooo lovely.
Thank you for a great evening. Would definitely recommend.

Food was well presented and staff nice. Had mussels for starter and they were great, the fish and chips I had were also great. The others had crab and the seafood platter which they said was really nice. The restaurant has a good name locally and I think we’ll deserved.
