The atmosphere is cozy! This is a cool place. The seats are deep red and comfortable, and the tables are fancy. They look like smooth marble. There are pictures of people from the Prohibition era throughout the speakeasy. It is decorated nicely. Even the bathrooms are decorated with wallpaper. The cool thing about this place is that it is underground. It is also cool that it has events, like concerts. The music selection for the night I attended was nice. It was smooth, mellow music and definitely fit the vibe of the atmosphere. The service was also excellent! We were tended to as soon as we sat down, and we received some delicious mocktails! One drawback is that it is small, and seating is limited. Seating is first come first serve.

Nice selection of craft cocktails. We sit at the bar & the bartenders are attentive & friendly. Loveeeee the crab gratin! It really hits the spot.
We were told the actual bar came from a bar in Chicago where Al Capone had visited. Would love it if they could get the lighting fixed so you could see the details.
Last time we went it was a Saturday evening so there was a band. Good music, nice sound, and not too loud, so you could still carry on a convo.

My first visit to The Mudd Room last night for an acoustic gig. After some googling to confirm, Mudd Room is below the Lucky’s 13. When you arrive there Mudd Room is painted on the east side of the building above a small four space parking lot. Fear not; you can park on the west side of the building, also am overflow lot there, a few spaces on the street in the front or across the street from there is designated parking. I entered through the west side of the building that noted Lucky’s, fear not, when I entered and told the host I was looking for the Mudd Room she gave me precise directions to get downstairs! Once downstairs I came upon the nice single toilet ladies room. I proceeded in to the bar, asked the blonde bartender where the music would be? She pointed to the stage @ the end of the bar and said it could be loud right by the speaker so she’d recommend sitting a few tables away. She said the parties near the stage were tabbing out if I wanted to sit there? I said I would take a seat @ the end until they were through. Shortly after I sat down the very friendly brunette server brought me a glass of ice water… thanks! She remained attentive all night, filling my water three times. Despite not looking over the menu she was very thoughtful when she popped by just to say it was last call for the kitchen, did I want anything? I meant to get the gals names, I did not, sorry. Music wasn’t too loud; the acoustics and lighting were great since the speakeasy is already dimly lit. I don’t anticipate this was my last visit; very much looking forward to catching another gig here or meeting friends for drinks! The friendly and attentive service are my number one fast and hard rule for a venue… no matter how good or bad the drinks or food are…. they 90% if I will return. These two knocked it out of the park… thank you for such a welcoming and attentive inaugural visit, cheers!

First time there tonight! It was a nice place with good drinks, service was great (we sat at the bar) We ordered the fondue, maybe my expectations were high for it but it lacked even just salt! My husband got bread pudding which was pretty good buy my tiramisu was a solid 4/10. Not disappointed though, definitely would go back

Amazing cocktails, good food/small bites, live music some nights and a great vibe.
It’s below Lucky13s, so parking gets very busy with both places.

We had the honor of hearing Tim Howe!!! Soooo awesome!!!! We had the Beef Bocadillo again for a munchie ($18.00 ~ doesn’t come with a side,… it is a app) We really love this but the meat was 1/2 of what it was the last few times.

Cocktails and food were excellent, as was the service and ambiance. Highly recommend the old fashioned, cold foam hot mess, sliders, fries, crab empanadas, and bread pudding. The live music act was also very good. And the aucoustics are auch that you can clearly hear the music and your companions. We will definitely return

Wow, so glad we picked this place. Our first speakeasy. The ambiance is amazing. There was a live musician. We had amazing cocktails and a fondue plate that was super good. Great date spot!
The door is on the north side (left as you walk up) of Lucky restaurant. They had a phone you can pick up to hear a prerecorded message. Pretty neat. Then you walk down the dimly lit stairs into a very intimate space with stone walls and nice seating.

What a nice place to come for fun! Nice music and food in a charming small underground club.
My favorite dish is certainly the escargot with chorizo butter and toasted slices of bread to soak up that irresistible flavorful from each little well.
We’ve been here many times and Anna always takes great care of us.
