We arrived on January 1st at 12:30 and it was packed! We had a large group so we had about a 30 minute wait until a table was ready.
Once seated, the service was prompt and friendly. The server (I believe her name was Olive) was great with kids and the chaos of ordering the comes along with them.
The food was great. I did the post bowl and would recommend getting it. Everyone else seemed to enjoy what they got as well.

We ordered The Mexican Mess, and Verde Good Omelette. Both were good and loved all the cool names of everything and the atmosphere was very nice along with great staff, the restaurant was clean. We didn’t care to much for the side of potatoes they were dry, the main entrees we will not try again but we’re willing to go back and try something else.

I love this restaurant. Right away, you get a good feeling for the place. The atmosphere is easy, and the staff was attentive and friendly. In the rear is located their bar and restaurant. Very classy indeed. The only thing that bothered my husband and I was the cramped two person table that rocked back and forth. The breakfast was excellent. Will definitely go back for more.

Quaint place to get a great breakfast! First time here, great meeting place for family, friends or a quick business meeting. Just on the outskirts of MSU. Restrooms were clean staff we’re very inviting. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious!

The Morning Post is a great spot for breakfast! The food was absolutely delicious – everything we tried was top notch. The breakfast tacos were packed with flavor, the French toast was perfectly fluffy and sweet, and the Porky Pig omelette was hearty and satisfying. On top of the great food, the service made the visit even better. Our server, Sydney, was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel so welcome! We’ll definitely be back.

We visited on a busy sunday morning, approximately 1030am. There were 5 or 6 tables ahead of us, and we expected a long wait, but was very happy when just after 10 minutes or so, we were seated. Staff was friendly, smiling faces everywhere. We started our meal with coffee and water. Usually coffee and most restaurants is very strong and unbecoming, but this was actually delicious. There were plenty of flavored creamers on the table, and it was enjoyable. The menu seemed a bit lacking, but with few options, I had high hopes that it was a limited menu so that they would all cooked to perfection, so it wouldn’t be over complicated. I ordered the the south west bowl, a side of chorizo, and a side of sausage gravy. My bowl came with polenta instead of toast, and i was excited to try their version of biscuits and gravy, which is polenta cakes and gravy, and the girlfriend had the Verde good omelette with post potatoes, and an English muffin. Upon receiving our food. My gravy was broken and had a strange yellow/brown hue. My opinion was that it was burned from being held way too hot, and that also caused it to break. The flavor wasnt horrible, but you could def taste the over cooked roux. The chorizo patties were by far the best part, but literally exactly what you would expect, nothing special. The potatoes on both mine and her plate, were old and extremely over cooked. They were extremely hard and almost inedible. She left over half on her plate, and considering that the portion was super minimal, that was discouraging. The skillet i ordered came with over easy eggs but I subbed over medium, and they were cooked perfect. It was topped with hollandaise sauce, and unfourtnatly, this was also broken, although it had a good flavor. Highly doubt it was housemade, as it tasted processed and had no distinct tart tast come through from the lemon juice as you would expect from a house made hollandaise, but it was good. My girlfriends omelet was good, however the raw egg that had to be scraped off the top was unacceptable. I highly doubt that we will come back, as the prices were extremely too high for the low quality execution, of what could be, extremely great food.

My friend and I came here on Valentine’s Day. We were served by Radha and she was absolutely amazing! I got the breakfast tacos, and she got the Mexican mess. Food was good and came out quick. I would say the pico needs a bit more flavor, maybe soak it overnight to enhance the flavor but very fresh! Now…we got a mimosa which was good however lots of juice, I’m one that likes to taste my champagne. BUT keep in mind that ONE mimosa is $14, I am not one to complain about prices but I almost had a heart attack when I saw that. I feel as though my champagne and pineapple juice should not be the same price as my meal. Overall great experience.
