What a charming cozy place! The coffee was great and the blackberry scone was phenomenal! Friendly owner and some unique artwork on some cards for sale. If you’re driving through I’d suggest stopping in and buying a bag of coffee to take home too!

A community anchor and a LOVELY coffee shop. Feels like home, the owner is beyond sweet. The coffee is a local brand that is roasted nearby, and the treats are made fresh everyday. Family friendly…even had a toddler potty seat! Absolute gem!

So good! First time there this morning for some iced coffee, yummy brownies and mouth watering raspberry scone! The owners are so so sweet & there’s seating inside! This was so so good I’ll definitely be back!

I was so impressed with the quality of the service. The service was so fast with an affordable price. I was struggling to find a bakery in town, when I got there, all of my problems were resolved in less than 10 minutes. And the cake was so smooth and tasty. That was the best cake I’ve ever tasted

A must stop as you drive through Hugo! Even worth a little detour off the main highways for some goodies. They have a nice selection of goodies and great coffee! Plus, the coffee helps support their local roundhouse restoration project. Their menu board even marks what items have certain allergens which is a blessing to a parent of a kid with allergies. We tried one of everything and we were not sad we did! The woman who owns it is very friendly and helpful. Plus, she is happy to tell you the history of the building, in fact they have a picture on the wall of currency that was printed in the building when it was the bank about a 100 years ago. That was fun! Since she has just been open about a month or so it sounds like she has big plans on expanding her selection of goodies. One last thing to mention her prices were phenomenal! We got cookies for $.50 and the most expensive item was only $3.50! Try it all!

We love going to The Moose Roost! Sheri is a joy to be around and all of the treats we’ve had are amazing. I love the orange-cranberry scones. I can’t wait to try more! My kids love her treats and the environment is warm and friendly. We will be making lots of visits to the bakery!

We stopped here a few times this past weekend and oh my goodness, let me tell you, the treats Sheri had were DELICIOUS! The apple fritter bread was so freaking good and the coffee was just perfect! Plus, the historic building that it’s in has a really neat story! If you’re driving through Hugo, CO, it’s the perfect little stop for a sweet treat!

Fun atmosphere (many moose!). We got coffee and hot chocolate, both tasty. The proprietress is very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and very accommodating. The bathrooms are clean, and there’s even a potty seat for children (a WONDERFUL addition).

A very welcoming experience at this local coffee shop. We were on our way home to Texas and stopped for coffee on the way. Our kids were needing to stretch their legs and the owner was more than willing to have them grab a snack and play a bit in the shop.
