I really enjoyed The Moonstone restaurant! I chose this place only because I’d been staying in The Graduate and it was super convenient to simply go upstairs on the elevator. That was a wise choice!
I had the Birria Burger and the Tres Leches desert. It was all pretty rich but absolutely delicious. The servers were friendly and very attentive.
The view is something that everyone should check out. I suppose that I should taken some pictures of my meal. But, I gobbled that down pretty quickly. So, please enjoy the pictures of the view.

We arrived on a slow Sunday evening and were handed menus with instructions to sit wherever we’d like. After being seated for 15 minutes, we made eye contact with a server multiple times but were never acknowledged.
For an overpriced establishment, I expect a higher level of service—especially when this seems to be a consistent experience here. At this point, I tell anyone I bring here that we’re coming strictly for the beautiful Tucson views, not the service, food, or drinks.
It’s very disappointing, particularly for guests who are spending a premium on drinks and expect at least basic attentiveness.

Cozy rooftop eatery. Bar with local spirits – whiskey, mezcal, & tequila. Nice views of Tucson and mountains.
The staff was great and attentive. Food is seasonal; changes, and tasty.
You’ll need to park elsewhere… there are a few spots near and a garage a block or so, away.

Came in & it was SO busy, really wanted outside seating but was offered at the bar so we took it & wow was it our lucky night! Our bartender Brooke gave us the BEST service I have ever had ANYWHERE, she was sooo kind, funny, knowledgeable on the menu, & even picked up on our convo about needing to leave & made it happen so quick, despite all the chaos going on. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever had better service than hers, I swear I would’ve thought she owned the place by how amazing & attentive she was! I hope she’s here when I come back, but def w a promotion of some kind! Thank you Brooke

Pray permit me to recount, in the most candid terms, the vexations my party and I endured upon our arrival at this establishment. Having presented ourselves in good faith and with proper expectation of accommodation, we were most disconcerted to discover that no tables whatsoever had been set aside for our gathering, notwithstanding prior indication to the contrary. Moreover, it had been represented in the description of the premises that an outdoor bar would be available for patrons’ enjoyment; yet, to our further chagrin, the tables situated without were likewise wholly inaccessible. Thus were we compelled to linger in a most tiresome state of anticipation for no less than half an hour and perhaps nearer to a full one, an interval quite unbecoming of a house that purports to offer respectable hospitality.
As a first-time visitor, I confess myself exceedingly disappointed—indeed, disheartened—by the want of readiness and consideration displayed. I must also remark, though it affords me little pleasure to do so, that the doorkeeper stationed at the entrance possessed a countenance of singular unpleasantness, which did nothing to elevate the spirits of those obliged to wait under his watch. Such an experience, I regret to say, leaves an impression most unfavorable and not soon forgotten.

Very nice little restaurant at the top of an hotel. The staff are very friendly and greet every guest that come into the restaurant. The food is delicious, only have two issues, the little portions and the price. The food is good but the portions are so small we had to go to McDonald’s for fill ourselves. The price for the food would be reasonable if it wasn’t for the portion size. The drinks are good but are pricey as well. The view is very nice, the hotel is about 14 stories high, allowing you to see a lot of Tucson. The restaurant does have a nice outside area, probably looks great at night.

Great service and great view. FYI the ceviche has a serious spicy kick to it. Not annotated on the menu. Aside that, everyone in my groups said their food was great, so still recommended.

Recently visited this place for a friends birthday. Highly recommend the elote cheesy bread. It’s so flavorful and delicious. They also have a great drink menu if you’re looking for a good happy hour spot. There’s an awesome patio with fire pits that overlooks Tucson. The staff are all so friendly and gave us free shots when they found out it was my friend’s birthday. I’ll definitely be back to visit the next time I’m in Tucson.

Moonstone Bar has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff made us feel comfortable right away. The drinks were fantastic, creative, balanced, and very enjoyable.
We also ordered nachos, but they were pretty bland and could use more flavor to match the quality of the cocktails. On top of that, when we asked for napkins, our server set them under a glass of water so they wouldn’t blow away, which unfortunately left them wet and unusable.
Overall, the staff and drinks were great, but the food and little details could use improvement.
