Place is fantastic! My Japanese wife now says this place has the best Asian-fusion sushi in Norman. The people are super friendly, and the food is amazing. Our waiter was a little quirky but she was a bunch of fun.
Lots of people came in while we were there and the employees knew them by name and had an order ready to go. It’s clear there are lots of people that love this place enough to come regularly.
100% worth a try if you like sushi!

If you are familiar with Volcanoes across town, this place is slightly more expensive but the noticeable upgrade in taste makes it worth it in my opinion. My wife and I spent $21/each but we were hungry and also got a dessert to share.

My favorite sushi restaurant hands down. The reataurant is small and quaint with local art on the walls for sale. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I have never had bad service and the entire staff is amazing. Meek Monster with habanero masago is my go to everytime.

Food was absolutely delicious. Its difficult to find vegetarian sushi that isn’t just a cucumber roll and this place had so many options I had a hard time choosing. I ended up trying 3 different rolls and was not disappointed. Each one full of flavor and textures. I am excited to take another trip to this place.

Our server, can’t remember his name… started with a “D” was phenomenal. Very welcoming and had great energy. Inside was very electic and overall just a very pleasant space to be in. Food was great, everything was great!

Best sushi I have had in Norman or OKC. Fresh, flavorful and totally delicious. I am not a super-adventurous sushi eater, but I tried new things here and loved them all. Really the stand out here is the service and environment. Our server, Lauren, was funny, kind, incredibly attentive and thoughtful. They were able to modify anything on the menu, she said, to be gluten-free and/or accommodate other allergies. She had suggestions for what I might order, and went to great lengths to make sure I loved what I ordered and that I got what I wanted. It seemed like everyone working there was part of a team, that they were enjoying themselves and liked their jobs and each other. The restaurant is cozy and not too big. Outstanding food, impeccable service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I’m counting down the days until I get to go back to The Moon!

It’s got that “hanging out at a friend’s place” energy—super comfortable, light-hearted, and (thankfully) none of those aggressive overhead lights that make you feel like you’re under interrogation.

Food: consistently fresh, actually delicious, and they have way more vegetarian options than your average sushi joint, which I love so I can actually eat . Plus, the staff is quick and genuinely nice, so you aren’t stuck waiting forever to eat.

If you want a chill spot where the vibes are as good as the rolls, this is it. ✨

We had wanted to go here again for a while. First visit was crowded and busy with bad service so we grabbed to go..took a while and decided we would come back if it was good. The sushi was good so we came back.
Walked into a pretty full place but were seated right away and ordered drinks. By the time we decided on drinks and they made it to the table was about 15 minutes. By this point there were about 12 others in the restaurant which included a large table down the middle. So, basically we were the only ones there that had not ordered. After ordering we visited and waited for 45 minutes when the server apologized. We knew there was a big table and figured they would be getting their food ready. It looked like the ones making sushi were working so we let her know it wasn’t a problem since we were next.
It was at this point another couple came in and sat at the bar. They looked over menus and talked. We waited. They ordered. We waited. about an hour and 15 minutes in for us, maybe 10 for the couple, they were served! So now everyone in the restaurant had food and we were still waiting. At an hour and a half we asked for our food to go. At ONE HOUR AND FORTY FIVE minutes we received our food and left.
The food was mid. It would have probably been better had we eaten it there when it was fresh prepared, but we were pretty upset about the whole situation. The poor server Lillith was trying her best to stay calm and check on us, but there was no offer of discount or information that we would have a nearly two hour wait for sushi! The real kicker was the other two that came in and were served before we were, in a timely fashion. This type of customer service is terrible! Completely on the sushi chefs for not preparing in order. Even sending out a simple roll from our order of four rolls would have been something for us to munch on while we waited on the others.
It was very cold in the restaurant, when I asked about a certain drink mentioned they did not have the ingredients to make it and then there is the way they handled the nearly two hour delay in getting fed. The sushi was not anything above par and we were very disappointed in this establishment.

Complimentary edamame was seasoned wonderfully. Crab cakes had two awesome sauces. Pork Bao buns were some of the best I’ve had in Oklahoma. Miso soup was packed full of flavor. We got the Rainbo, Adair, Tokyo and Turbo Dougie. All were excellent but I loved the simple clean Turbo Dougie. Mona was super nice and attentive. She gave the perfect suggestions.

The Meat Monster was the Absolute best. I enjoyed the devils advocate and the Moon with wasabi and soy sauce. But the meat monster was best on its own. Amazing all around service and the atmosphere reminded me of some of the best places in L.A. highly recommended.
