The Monarch is a whole vibe.
While visiting Jerry World I wanted a place to sit down for a cigar/whiskey. I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn’t busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I’ve seen.
Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey – their selection was massive. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago.
Highly recommend this place for a cigar smoker looking for a good meal + cigar in a quiet/intimate environment.

Monarch Stag is a fantastic spot with some of the best cocktails and a huge bar selection. The bartenders are super friendly and know how to craft excellent drinks. I love that they feature live music on some weekends, which adds to the atmosphere. The cigar room is a unique touch, offering a different vibe in a separate section. Always enjoy coming back here for the great drinks and overall experience!

Upscale whiskey lounge with a lot of unique cocktails to choose from. We just stopped in for a cocktail and appetizers. There are plenty of options for those who don’t like whiskey, as well. Food and drinks are pricey, but that should be expected from an establishment like this. I recommend visiting if you want to try something you can’t get just anywhere, or for a special occasion. The vibe was great, and the live music was a nice touch as well.

I came her to host a prospect recruiting dinner and it exceeded my expectation. The lounge is perfect for hosting an event or dinners with clients. The selection of drinks were endless. The rock shrimp and steak were executed flawlessly. We asked to have our steaks cooked medium rare and it was tender and fresh. The rock shrimp was well seasoned, plump, fresh and savory. Our waitress constantly checked in on us.

Scott and I had a fantastic date night at this restaurant. It’s always a thrilling experience when he visits town and takes me out. The customer service was exceptional, and the food was simply amazing. We both opted for steak with a side of liquor . I thoroughly enjoy the perks of being single and traveling. Scott relished his drinks, and I savored mine, along with the delicious dessert. We engaged in delightful conversations about life in NYC and Texas. Our server was exceptional, providing top-notch service and making our dining experience truly memorable. Of course, Scott took me out again here before returning to NYC. The Stag is incredible! The food and drinks are amazing, and their specialty cocktails are some of the best I’ve had. The live music and dancing create such a fun, lively atmosphere. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming — they really make you feel at home. Definitely one of the best spots in town for a great night out! I had a filet it was so good. It was cooked perfectly and tender. My husband had a ribeye. He really like the flavor but said the steak was chewy.
Atmosphere was a mixed bag and the most disappointing but also the vibes were on point. For the price and the type of food you really don’t expect to be sitting at small cocktail tables. However they had some great entertainment. All in all, I’d go back. I’d probably just go for some drinks though.

I had an amazing experience at The Monarch Stag in Frisco! Xavier, the bartender, really stood out—he’s incredibly personable, talkative, and fantastic at building rapport. He made the visit feel special.
The food and drinks were exceptional. The Wagyu sliders were buttery, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The truffle fries were the perfect side, with just the right amount of richness. For drinks, I tried the Viking Heart whiskey, which was bold and smooth, and the Heather and Leather cocktail with edible gold was as elegant as it was delicious.

Came here since they were open late and we wantes to have a drink and chill. Atmosphere was cool, laid back. Server was was on point, cheerful smiling and happy ans helpful. We enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back. I ordered a couple Old Fashions and had a strawberry lemon drop martini. Drinks were great and I would definitely come back..
