Delicious Food & Great Flavors at Momo World!
I recently visited Momo World, a Nepalese restaurant my friends recommended, and it turned out to be such a great experience! We didn’t have much time, so we decided to order take-out and tried their Tandoori Momos along with a Chicken Biryani.
The food was absolutely delicious — the Tandoori Momos were packed with flavor, perfectly grilled, and had that smoky, spicy kick that makes you crave more. The Chicken Biryani was just as impressive, with rich flavors, tender meat, and a generous portion size that made it totally worth it.
Even though we ordered for takeaway, the food was well-packed, still hot, and fresh when we got home. You can really tell they put care into their cooking and presentation.
Overall, it was a fantastic first experience, and I’m already planning to go back soon to try their Butter Masala Momos and a few other dishes from the menu. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves flavorful food and wants to try authentic Nepalese momos with a twist!

Cute little spot off Maxwell Street with great momos. The tandoori was bomb, and the chicken filling is tender. The chat Momo was also interesting, as was the jhol. Would come back to try the others!

Incredible assortment of momos and very hospitable ownership. Would highly recommend the momos with the traditional chilled sauce; absolutely outstanding. We also got the goat curry which was super flavorful. Will certainly be back

We carry out from here at least once a month if possible. We’ve probably eaten 90% of the menu at this point and literally nothing has disappointed, like every time we eat here it’s the best. Obviously the momo are unique and fantastic, but don’t sleep on the other dishes. The chow mein is so flavorful, it is a must get no matter what else we order. Sekuwa chicken is always on point, the pulau set is an insane amount of food (easily could feed two) that tastes so homemade and the two different entrees it comes with are PERFECTLY balanced. Even the rice is out of this world which I know is usually a stretch to say, but they LOAD it with nuts and raisins and coconut and it’s heavenly. Having talked with a relation of the family who owns this place, I can guarantee you everything here is homemade and made with love. It truly tastes like you went to someone’s house and were served the best food from Nepal you could dream of. We literally fear this place closing one day because we know we’ll never find a place we love as much as this.

The momos were SO good!! We got the tornado fries, chicken tandoori momo, the butter chicken momo, and gulab jamun. We really loved the chicken tandoori momos! As someone that has never had momos before I really enjoyed it and the chicken tandoori momos were true to their name and super flavorful. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Came here for lunch after hearing the Infatuation rave about this place, totally lived up to the hype. They have an expansive menu with a ton of dumpling options, and I was totally blown away by their tandoori momos. Delightfully smokey and lightly charred and crispy, and the momos are really well spiced inside and out. I would absolutely put these in my top 5 dishes in the city.

You can tell the momos here are homemade from their imperfect, hand-folded pleats. The steamed chicken momos were excellent: thin yet satisfyingly chewy wrappers encasing a flavorful, well-seasoned filling with a pleasant kick of spice. The two accompanying sauces were just as delicious: one slightly sweet and tomato-ey, the other more tart and peppery.

The momos were dry, lacked flavor, and the dipping sauces tasted store-bought. Definitely not worth the hype—won’t be coming back!
