The yucca fries were the best we ever had. Lightly crispy on the outside and fresh and hot on the inside and soft. The yucca fries $6 was fresh. Mofongo with Camarones which is shrimp did not have much garlic or any shrimp. So we were a little disappointed. But the Dominican breakfast $16 with salami and fried cheese and fried egg it was very good. It was a great experience with the food truck and we were so glad we happen to find it on our road trip. Great food! Seating right outside w shade.

Food is good n actually worth it when it’s not burnt. I’ve had mofongo 2 times so far 1 time burnt 1 good. Paid $20 each time. Just for mofongo and a can of Pepsi. Drinks are 4-7 dollars for a normal can bit ridiculous.

Ok, good Mofongo with fresh garlic is amazing, so much garlic you can smell the food being made fresh. They have all the essentials! Includibg the Kola Champagne!, LOL.

This place is certainly a joke. As a Dominican I am highly disappointed. Extremely over priced. 80+ dollars for a very small portion of chicharrón de pollo, rice and beans, one side of rice and beans and 4 medium sized shrimp/very small and 4-5 half wings with very small amount of fries. We ate then got home less than 45 mins later and had to make dinner because we were still hungry. They are very stingy with the portions. The quality of the food is under average/not good, the rice and beans were not fresh. I certainly will not be back. If you’re looking for amazing Dominican/PR fresh food in Polk, look up Donde Wilking in Winter Haven or tio pica pollo in Lakeland.

Only had the fried snapper but came back a second time for it because it was so good and it still didn’t disappoint. I plan to come back for a Dominican breakfast plate.

Súper delicioso!!! The food is made on the spot and to perfection. I had a mofongo with garlic chicken breast and it was amazing!!!! My family’s food was really good as well. I highly recommend you visit and have a meal.

Their beef and cheese empanadas were clearly made fresh and were DELICIOUS! We also had a chicken and cheese empanada and potato balls. Everything was really good! We will definitely be back soon to try the Tripleta and the Pork Belly!
