Food came out at different times was very expensive. Floors and restrooms were dirty. I didn’t get the drink I ordered. The staff was chatting behind the bar instead of sweeping and cleaning. I ordered the truffle pasta it was very bland but the garlic toast was good, the crab cakes were amazing (but only 2), and the brownie was amazing! I don’t know if it’s worth going back the service wasn’t great and neither was my main course. Not what I expected for over $100 for 2 people.

I’ve been to the one in Vegas over 20 times . And this was my first visit to this location. Nice looking place, good neighbourhood. Just a note you have to pay for parking but it’s cheap. They are close to the quality and experience compared to the Vegas location, but everything is just a bit off. Some of the dishes didn’t come out quite as described. And it tastes nearly as good. I’d still recommended it. Just little things here and there that were missed. For example the breakfast potato skins are supposed to come with some sour cream on top and they didn’t. Again still worth the visit. The food still tastes pretty good. And I love the fact that everything is vegan. They do have a great happy hour which is half price cocktails all day.

This was the best vegan food I’ve had since I became vegan 9 years ago from ANY restaurant. I loved everything about it. I was a little skeptical that the food would not have big enough filling portions and wouldn’t look as they did on the website… this was definitely NOT the case. The staff and food were AMAZING! I ordered the surf and turf burger and this was my first time having vegan shrimp. Everything was very fresh, hot and was ready in no time. We were stuffed and took half our food to go. I will be back to try the rest of the menu. I can’t wait to come during football game days and happy hour times.

Modern Vegan did not disappoint. I had one of their wraps and it was fire, fresh and full of flavor. I’d recommend this spot to anybody, vegan or not. They really got some solid options, and you can tell they put love into the food. Definitely a place I’ll be back to.

First let’s start with the pros, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was absolutely clean. And they offered three free parking spots in front of their establishment. Now unfortunately let’s talk about the cons, there were only three free parking spots with the surrounding area being all paid to park. The food took a long time to arrive and some portions of my Dish were a little bit colder for the wait time. The price is a little high so if you’re going for a date night May I recommend going on a day that you get paid because honey my wallet was empty! I have to say for the price the portion size was quite filling though. Overall my biggest critique was the wait time. And the portion sizes for the price paid. Otherwise I’ll actually be returning to this location fingers crossed for better wait times though. The staff was incredibly friendly and the establishment was beautiful with outdoor seating.

Overall a good experience with a few hiccups. We came for opening day and ordered breakfast/brunch, and it was obvious the team was still trying to develop a grove (which is to be expected). Initially we ordered the biscuits and gravy but was later told the oven had not been delivered, so that item was off the menu. However, there were multiple other items we planned on trying that were great! I was very impressed with the quality of the food and attention to detail. Very happy this place is open after so many vegan restaurants have closed down in Metro Detroit.

This experience was so personalized! Our server, Beau, was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to recommend some great dishes. Everything we had a question about, when we received our food, he was spot on with all of it. The food was great and he was very accommodating. Overall, awesome experience and I do plan on going back. The Buffalo mac & cheese, nachos and the crabcakes were and the portions were just right, honestly

Everything was outstanding! The food was delicious and interesting, the staff were so kind and friendly, and the atmosphere is chill. The wait was reasonable and the staff did an excellent job with the food. The Louisiana Fried Chick’n was my favorite dish.
Zero complaints. We will be back! 1000000/10. Highly recommended for delicious vegan food.

The overall experience was good. Our server was very pleasant. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I ordered the fried shrimp for an appetizer and it was surprisingly pretty good. Tasted like real shrimp. The sauce that came with it was just ok…recommend expanding on the sauces. I ordered a carry out of the Pad Thai with Shrimp and it was pretty good. It could have had a little more seasoning.
What I found concerning was the wait time for the food, the 20% up charge for a large party – there were 7 of us and some of my family ordered the Mac Attack burger and all of them said it was salty. We were the only party in the restaurant so not sure why it took long to get some of our items. I think I might visit again to give it a second chance.

My husband & I just left this place figured we would go after the movies…after seeing mixed reviews we decided to still give it a try, what a disappointment!
Service: slow & server was also the bartender. She really didn’t know the menu… you could tell she didn’t but tried to play it off just like she obviously didn’t know how to make a mock tail. Had our food sitting under the heat lamp for 10-15 mins only to deliver to us with no silverware.
Food: Terrible, I ordered the Louisiana vegan fried chick’n & potatoes… cooked in dirty grease & tasteless. Coleslaw drenched in Mayo and didn’t taste fresh. My husband’s fish sandwich also flavorless but better than mine… looks like his was fried in clean grease at least.
Overall: D-/.50 ⭐️
