The Mockingbird on Mill Road is located in rural Ottawa County, Ohio. We offer from scratch small plates, craft beers, ciders, meads and a selection of fine wines from around the world. Open February-December, Thursday-Saturday 5-10 with live music most nights beginning at 6. We are closing January 1st and reopening February 1st. The first Sunday of each month is Jazz Sunday, featuring the amazing sounds of BumblePuppy. Doors open at 3:30 with music from 4-7.

A… May…ZING!!!!!!!!! This may be my new favorite place. The vibe was smooth and relaxing. The staff knew their stuff. This is an excellent place to grab a drink and some snacks with friends. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is friendly. I had the Paloma (grapefruit margarita) and my friends had hard ciders. They offer samples. The various charcuterie is fresh and awesome. It’s kind of a pain to find the parking at night (hope my pic helps). I will definitely come back.

Had a wonderful time here with my husband and friend! Very cozy and cute atmosphere, with rustic barn touches but comfortable and clean. Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly and sweet. Our waitress was super welcoming and we met one of the owners who was a pleasure to talk to!
The food was great, we got some flatbreads and soup which were delicious. Great selection of beverages, we got a flight of wine and a charcuterie board which was just enough food. Also, live music! We plan to come back in the summer since they offer lots of outdoor seating!

Great wine and beer – recommend doing a flight as it’s the best bang for the buck. Their food changes weekly with great new things to try, food is a bit overpriced but for a small establishment outside of town you really can’t complain. The best part though is the lineup of live music, trivia, bunco, book clubs and more. Everyone is super nice and inviting, can’t recommend it enough!
