Beautiful decor, super friendly staff from the front door to the waiter. Delicious food! The sauces and seasonings were spot on. Even had a kids menu!!! Loved the seating with booth and chairs. Bathroom decor was spot on what i would imagine for Maneet Chauhan. Parking was at the whole foods grocery store and was crazy busy so hard to find a spot. Still cost $13 with validation at the restaurant. Then we walked the block and saw they had parking near restaurant. If it isn’t a busy time i would just park there instead.

This atmosphere here is soooo nice. Quiet environment even with lots of people here having conversations. Mitchell was my server and he had great recommendations of the menu. We were a party of 6, we all had speciality drinks quickly and our food quick. The quality of the food is definitely top notch. I ordered the Bloody Mary and the bird is the word with the homemade hot cause. It was sooooo delicious. There were no bones in the thighs so very easy to eat. My sister got the So Sophisticated with gluten free modifications and the flavors are amazing together. Others got the Mac n cheese, belly of the beast, tots el tio fun!, Brussels spouts and wedge salads. Everyone had a great experience and loved their food.
Definitely will come back when we are back in Nashville.

Food and service were great overall. The burger was well cooked, but the fries were overseasoned with paprika to the point of being inedible. We mentioned this to the staff, and they promptly replaced them with a fresh batch, which we appreciated.
The sisig was delicious. I just wish it came with rice by default. Paying $9 for a side of garlic rice felt a bit overpriced. Also, I wish they covered parking. Besides that, their food is always great and will come back again.

️The Mockingbird – Nashville’s Modern Diner With a Sweet Surprise ✨
If you’re looking for a playful, modern twist on comfort food in Nashville, The Mockingbird will catch your attention right away. My friends and I stopped in for a light dinner, so we ordered several appetizers instead of full entrées — every single one was good. Creative flavors, beautiful presentation, and bold seasoning made it such a fun tasting experience.
But the real star of the night?
The “Oh My Pie.”
This dessert absolutely stole the show. Creamy, dreamy, perfectly balanced, and unbelievably good — the kind of pie that makes you stop mid-conversation and just savor the moment. If you try one thing here, let it be the Oh My Pie.
Fun Fact: The Mockingbird is known for its globally inspired “modern diner” concept created by celebrity chef Maneet Chauhan and chef Brian Riggenbach — so expect creative dishes, playful names, and food with personality.
Service & Atmosphere: Friendly, energetic, and fun. A great spot for date night, small bites, or a casual meal before exploring Nashville.
Small plates were tasty… but that pie was unforgettable! Try it once, and you’ll understand why they called it “Oh My Pie.” ❤️

We came for Valentine’s Day dinner and it did not disappoint! I had an expresso martini and the Lobster mac off the special menu, both were superb! The waiter we had was super nice as well! Definitely will be back every trip to Nashville!

Drink, Food, and Staff on point. We’ll definitely return. Only thing we disliked was gratuity is already included in the bill. Even though it was on the bill. The server should have pointed it out. Especially after a few of their amazing drinks.

Great food and drinks. Our server was from our hometown and he was an absolute delight. The brie bites and bloody Mary were exceptional

It’s a beautiful place and has a nice vibe to it. My husband and I went there for brunch, and we felt immediately rushed by our server. The menu options are all a play on words with most of the items, you need to read the description to see what you are getting. I was overwhelmed with the server coming over every 2-3 minutes asking if we were ready, when I wasn’t. Feeling rushed, I just ordered something quickly for her sake. I have bad anxiety and hated to keep bothering our waitress. The restaurant wasn’t busy, either. Food was subpar. The cinnamon rolls with cream cheese is delicious! I wasn’t a fan of my meal due to lack of knowledge and being rushed. The sausage and eggs with a slice of cheese looked straight out of a holiday express free breakfast buffet (no joke).
I’m sure the place is much more suited for dinner entrees, but brunch did not meet the mark for me and the service really was disappointing.

I’ve been here twice and it was fabulous both times. The burger is top notch and I had the best scrambled eggs I’ve eaten here. Service is friendly and the place is super cute.

The menu is different from the last time I was there. It used to be witty, clever and everything I had up until my visit this past Saturday was delicious. So new menu, nothing I recognized and no fun descriptors. So I asked the bartender about the Frito Misto as I love all the components as described. He said it wasn’t his favorite as he’s not a oyster lover. Well I am so I ordered it. It came really quickly and I was kind of surprised at how dark the fry was. I thought it might just be the spices in the breading, but when I cut into the first nugget (it was caulifower) it was truly very thick and way over cooked. The cauliflower pactically disintegragted when I pierced it with the fork. I was super trepidatious now to try the oyster, which again was indicernable from the rest of the dark crusty chunks. Just like the cauliflower, it was just a heavy fatty tasting blob. The green beans beans were limp like noodles with no flaovr at all. When the bartender checked in with me, I told him I was put off by how dark the fry was and was thinking maybe it would be more like a light tempura crunch. I couldn’t finish it. I was sad that I had eaten as much as I did. I asked for a beer to cleanse my pallet and wash away the greasy coating on my tongue. I am sad for the whole experience, especially when I had some entertaining yummy memories in the past.
