2/28/26. THE MIXER is an amazing establishment-we cannot say enough great things about this place!
The upstairs event space was perfect for our baby shower and exceeded our expectations. The staff and owners were truly AMAZING and made the entire experience, seamless and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for an event space this is it.
HIGHLY recommend !!!

What a great restaurant nestled in downtown Hopkinsville KY, and just 28 mins from Clarksville.
Right when you walk in you feel the vibe, from the way the bar and tables are set up to the jazz music playing in the background.
Our server was Joshua who also was the bartender, our table was at the bar counter which was a cool addition to the vibe. Josh was knowledgeable on menu and all the items the restaurant had to offer along with great cocktails!
The food was exceptional!
We started with the charcuterie board , which was delicious with a variety of meats and cheeses.
Our entrées were the pan seared chicken(airline chicken) and bone and pork, which were also amazing
Save yourself the drive to Nashville and give this place a try you won’t be disappointed .
Will definitely be back.
UPDATE: Been back a few time for dinner and it’s still FABULOUS!
Just went for Brunch on 8/2/25 and it was excellent!
Again …. Save the trip to Nashville and take the beautiful backroads and go enjoy this great restaurant !

The Mixer in Hopkinsville has an inviting, laid-back vibe that makes it easy to relax as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere feels warm and social — a mix of modern café and casual lounge, with just enough energy to make it lively without being loud.
We ordered two Bloody Marys, and they were dressed perfectly — packed with flavor, presentation on point, and exactly what you want from a well-made brunch cocktail. The chicken salad croissant was outstanding: light, fluffy bread with a rich, balanced chicken salad that tasted fresh and homemade. The Reuben panini had great flavor, though it could’ve used a bit more sauerkraut and corned beef to round it out.
The only odd part was the lack of plates, which made eating a little awkward, but not enough to ruin the experience. Overall, it’s a great spot for brunch or lunch, and I’d definitely come back to try their dinner service.

The Mixer has a great warm and inviting atmosphere even seated at the bar. The Brioche French Toast from the brunch menu was amazing. Very thick cut brioche, seemed like half a loaf of bread, that was cooked beautifully with flavor all the way through. As expected, parking a larger vehicle in the downtown area has its challenges but it’s not a deterrent. I will definitely be returning for brunch.

This was our first dinner out since moving to the Hopkinsville area and we were not left disappointed. The menu and all our choices- happy hour cocktails, charcuterie board, wedge salad, lobster ravioli, and fried catfish catch of the week- were both more delicious and filling that we had anticipated. Our server Dustin was knowledgeable and attentive, without being overbearing. The atmosphere was nice. The live guitarist really added a pleasant touch to the evening. Excited to return in the future.

We chose The Mixer in Hopkinsville, KY for our wedding dinner with family, and it was a wonderful experience! ✨
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took time to explain the menu, offered helpful suggestions for our family, and made sure everything was just right. Our drinks and food arrived quickly, and everything was fresh and absolutely delicious.
The sweetest surprise was being given a complimentary dessert to celebrate our wedding—it made the evening feel extra special.
We are so thankful for the experience and highly recommend The Mixer. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice ambiance because of high ceiling. We went there for brunch so there is no a lot of people we have a lot of seat to choose. The coffee they served was great nice combinations and also the tuna crossiant was fantastic taste. I really like it.

We love the Mixer. I’d go as far as to say it’s the best food we’ve had in the Clarksville/Hopkinsville/Nashville area. Great variety. Fantastic consistency! You can tell the staff and chefs strive for perfection. The owners are wonderful and strive to welcome each patron as family. Oh did I mention the food! Expertly handcrafted with small town prices! The building is almost as beautiful as the food and they also have a bakery next door that supplies all the Mixer’s baked goods. So you are also getting fresh baked! If you haven’t been you are truly missing out!

What’s not to like – delicious food, great cocktails, and good vibes. If you’re a bourbon (cocktail) drinker this place is great. I had their take on an old fashioned called the Fireside. Very good. Also had the Ode to Chaz, a rye and scotch blend. Also good. Josh, one of the bartenders, will treat you well. Ordered shrimp and grits based on the other reviews and didn’t disappoint. Good sausages, good shrimp, seasoned well. Would recommend you try this place out. A worthwhile visit if in Hopkinsville.
