We ended up here on a recommendation from the hotel concierge and felt lucky to get a reservation. I thought the place had three different ambiences, the front porch looked quiet and comfortable, the inside was dark & mysterious, and the back porch was light, airy, and active. We chose the back porch as our reservation was for outside and it was very enjoyable. Despite the occasional fly or curious/ hungry birds, we enjoyed the atmosphere and energy. The service was very prompt and efficient while the food was excellent. We had heard about the table service guacamole and it was incredible if you like guacamole, the best we had ever had. We also had the fish & steak tacos that didn’t disappoint. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and we hope to return in the near future.

Absolutely delicious. Our server described it best: this is not a Mexican restaurant, this is an experience. Mix of spices and recipes from the U.S. to South America. The food was exquisite; each bite was full of unique flavors. Loved the brussel sprout tacos, duck empanadas, and citrus/tomato/nut kale salad. The steak was highly recommended and you won’t go wrong with it. We were told it comes from happy cows. Sweet mix of mojitos and margaritas. On the pricey end and a reservation is recommended. Can be a little noisy, but makes for a great atmosphere.

When my wife and I walked in and the restaurant was filled with energy. We knew we were going to have a good experience. That was further solidified when we met our server Aaron. He was so energetic and we’ve never had a server as passionate about telling us about the menu. It didn’t feel like a spiel that the chef told him to say.

Vacationing & came here last Wednesday night and didn’t make reservations. The host was nice about it and took our name and told us we could sit at the community table and wait was about 30 min. Wait only took about 10 min. We ordered the guacamole and it was the best I’ve ever had! Amazing! Ordered the pork shoulder tacos and shared with my sister and we had plenty of meat to use with the 10 street size tortillas that comes with dish. Menu is pricey but definitely worth trying.

It’s very sad what has happened to this restaurant, and the fact it’s 3/4 empty is a true sign there are problems. We had a 1:30 brunch reservation, unfortunately, the hostess, (whose neck was covered in hickeys) knew the couple who walked in before us so had to endure their hugs, kisses and gossip, then the hostess sat them, and continued their socializing and never came back.

Not a bad place. The fish taco was spot on, the tostada was great. The squash taco wasn’t special and can be passed on. And the sangria was perfect. The only major complaint is how loud the music is. You have to talk loud which is annoying when going out for dinner.

This just might be the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Just Wow. Everything was top notch and my actual favorite of everything I tried on our 5 course dining experience was the street corn family style side, I would buy a massive amount of that to bring home.
