Now, the food—wow!!! It came out fast, hot, and fresh. I had the House-Made Cinnamon French Toast with eggs and bacon. Every bite was perfectly fluffy and flavorful—I honestly didn’t want to stop eating, even when I was full. My co-worker had the Baked Banana Caramel French Toast, which was just as delicious (I stole a bite, of course).
The portions are generous, and the prices are almost too good to be true for the quality and quantity.
If you’re looking for a cozy spot with killer breakfast, don’t sleep on this place. Just wake up and go.
The staff was on point and our server was great. The one knock was that i got up to use the restroom and a guy working there said its outside. It was locked and i thought someone was using it. Later i saw another woman got a key. I mean, he could have been like it’s outside and you need a key.
Inside was fun and nice vibe. I’m glad we didn’t sit outside. The surrounding area is a little sketchy and there was a homeless man harassing the outside patrons. And like a lot of downtown San Diego, it smelled a lot like human waste.
